4 adults at CBR?

How comfortable would 4 adults (3 women) be in a room at CBR? Are there privacy curtains in every room, no matter what building? Are there double sinks? How comfortable are the beds compared to the Value resorts? I'm trying to decide if we should all be in one room, or possibly 2 rooms at POP, instead of CBR. I have never stayed at CBR, but I've stayed at ASSp & ASMu. Are the bathrooms at CBR the same size as the Values?
Thanks for any help. :flower:

I think that is would depend on how comfortable the four adults are with one another. There are privacy curtains (as I remember) that can be pulled around the sink area. They DO have double sinks (which we LOVED). I have never stayed in a value resort, but I found the beds to be pretty comfortable and I have a horrible time with hotel beds! Overall, the resort is VERY NICE. I've never stayed at the value resorts, though, so I really can't give you a comparison. Have you checked out Deb Wills website at www.wdwig.com. Click on the accomodations link at the top and you will have a list of resorts down the left side of the page. There you can see pictures of the resort ammenities and rooms. Good luck! We love it at CBR, but it really seems to be a matter of opinion. :D

I would go for 2 rooms. The beds are doubles. 4 adults getting ready in the morning would be a mess. Request connecting rooms, it would seem like you are still in the same room but it would give you room to spread out.

I think it depends on the adults comfort level. I HAVE stayed at the value resorts (ASMo) and thoroughly enjoyed it. You certainly would have more room and privacy. The theme is fun, our rooms have been quiet both times, and to be honest, we had a hard time justifying moving up to a moderate on our upcoming trip. But we're going to give CBR a try ourselves in late April.

You won't be sorry. I think you'll really enjoy CBR. Whether it is justifiable or not is probably just a matter of opinion, but at least you can say you've tried different resorts, right? Have a great time! :flower1:

I have pictures of the rooms on my website, idhal.com listed below. There is a curtain between the room and sinks.

You will pay extra for having two extra adults in the room. If you get a great discounted rate you may want to get 2 rooms otherwise I think you will be OK.

You may want to visit the FAQ threads and my two photo sites listed below for lots of photos and information about CBR.

Who needs pictures when you can have video? ;)

We have information on all the Disney resorts right here of the DIS, including a Video Tour of the CBR.....and the inside of their rooms :)

The rooms at the CBR are quite a bit large than at the values. That said, with paying for the two extra adults in the room, you really might be better off at a value and having two bathrooms.

Because of the split bathroom, where the sink is outside the shower/lav, it's not quite as bad wth four adults getting ready in the morning, but still going to be tight.

Keep in mind that connecting rooms can be requested, but except where they will be occupied by young children, never guaranteed. If you opt for two rooms you might end up in completely different buildings.

Have you thought about renting points for a DVC studio? Might not cost more than one room at CBR (no extra adult fees or tax) and would give you a lot more room plus the microwave, coffe maker, toaster and fridge which would also save money on breakfast.

Wow! Thanks Penny. I've been reading these boards for three years now and never knew about the video tours! I learn something new every time I visit. Thanks again. Watching the tour made me so excited for my trip in February - 19 days! :cool1: :cool1:

Good point about the extra adult charge ($15 per person per night at a moderate, $10 at a value). That would narrow the price between 2 value rooms and 1 moderate or even 2 moderates.
