Great report - you are so lucky to be able to cruise so often. I am hoping DH is listening to my wish of wanting to cruise DCL for my 40th birthday - only 6 years to wait

Morning-
I sent my DGS the pictures of the Flying Dutchman - he loved the ones with the faces on the side of the ship. He then told, "GiGi, please don't show me anymore pictures, they are getting me too excited for our trip and I don't think I can wait much longer.
Again, thanks for the wonderful images of what we have to look forward to in a few weeks.

I would of said Howdy at the Pirate a party but it was too loud to talk.

Where is the observation tower and is it in an adult area?

The Observation tower is located on a bike path. Not an adult area. it is for everyone to enjoy.

Once you rent a bike or you could walk, head towards the runway and about 1/3rd of the way down it on the right will be a sign that says Bike path. Just go down the trail and you cant miss it. There is water and a rack to park the bikes. The trail is 5000 feet long.

If you want to ride a bit more, when you exit the trail onto the runway turn right and go all the way to the end where it turns into the adult beach, you will see a water station and bike racks on the right, there is another trail there to ride too. Lovely view at the end, plus water. Ice cold water!!!
