Ok, some of you may remember me from the other day (I was the one that was debating this deal to surprise my parents with a trip or waiting until we could afford DL.) But, we've decided we're going for this deal!! Since we're booking 2 rooms, it's too good of a deal to pass up! 
Here are my two questions:
1) On my last post, someone mentioned the gift cards can not be used for food. I was under the impression that they can be? (We're doing 2 reservations, so we'll be getting 2 $200.00 gift cards.) Please tell me you can use those on food!
2) For those of you that booked online, how long did you have to do the deposit? I know on the phone you have a week, but is it the same with the website or is it instant? We want to get booked TODAY, but have no way to transfer $$ from my savings in to my account until Thursday. (We're newlyweds, and DH can't do it because we haven't added each other to our accounts yet. And, I can't get to the actual bank until Thursday.) But, if I do not have to do the deposit today when we book, that wouldn't be a big deal.

To my knowledge the gift cards are used most anywhere for anything.
