4/3 Package With Annual Pass

I read on Mousesavers that an Annual Passholder can book the 4/3 Package by only buying a one-day base ticket plus the room rack rate for 4 nights.My Pass wil be up for renewal at the time of my trip.Would I be able to apply the one-day base ticket to the cost of my AP renewal?Thanks.

If you are getting APs for everyone, it would be smarter to buy a 7 day MYW ticket no expiration. Reason being, you get 3 days of it free; quite a discount with no expiration--cost being based on the number of days. It's still under the cost of an AP. Just use it once and it will bring it up to full gate value. In a nut shell, You’d be getting a ticket valued at $413.22 for $339.74, saving $73.48. You’d save $159.75 on a new AP or $117.15 on the purchase of a renewal.

All my above numbers are based on an adult's ticket with tax. Also assumes PH.

Thanks!But wouldn't my savings only be the $73.48 difference in the 4 day versus 7 day price?When I upgrade the MYW ticket to an AP,wouldn' I have to pay the difference between the two prices(AP-499.49 minus MYW-413.22=$86.27)?Thanks.
