4/29/06 Eastern Magic...We're Going!!!!!

Funny little story that REALLY happened yesterday. After dropping in to our favorite little coffee stand (and I do mean little!) Trish pulled into the turn lane at the red light. In front of us was a nice big burgundy pickup. While chatting both of our gazes were immediately drawn to the rear trailer hitch (where else would it be!?!) and the lovely truck accessory on display. The light turned green and Trish stepped on the gas so that we could capture forever that memory on memory forever. Such a special special moment. While I fumbled in my purse for my camera (yes, it was lost in there!), Trish promised me that we would catch up for the perfect photo op. While cautiously exceeding the speed limit, we caught up to the vehicle. And what to our wondering eyes did appear but.....well, see for yourselves!

Hi everyone,

Wow-you guys have been rather busy! First of all, MKetting, our thoughts and prayers go out to your friend and his children and of course your family as well. She was too young. We have had breast cancer touch many of my family members(which of course makes us all nervous), some luckier than others but it is always difficult!


Just thought I'd stop by to say Hi to everyone before we shove off to (hopefully) sunny Florida later this afternoon. You know how it is....you *think* you are ready to go and then "It's today" anxiety sets in.....

So- have a good week all! Chat with you when we get back....because where we are going only has (GASP) dial-up service!!

I was so disapointed that there was no eye candy today in the countdown that I went and tried to find some - here's what I came up with

I wasn't able to come up with anything better, either. Keep up the good work, man. It's a tough job!!!! I wasn't trying to usurp you - although, you still haven't answered my call to campaign! I'm with ya man, but you gotta state your case - aske for votes - etc.

I also have a Palo ressie for Friday night at 6:30 that I am holding onto to trade for a brunch once on board but it's all yours if you want that stinky time - last evening and all. I am not going to use that one as I have another dinner date at Palo already set up.

Guys, know how I said I am great at the long term stuff and stink at the short term stuff. Well, I was gathering all my ressies together today for plane, lodging, etc, nd I notice, hey, where's my car rental stuff. Well, who the hell knows - so thank God I thought of doing this now as I could call customer service and figure out my reservation number and get the ressie to print again. I also have failed to set up our limo service to take us back and forth from the airport yet - gotta get on that too. I am so freaked about what else I am missing.

I know, I want to go RIGHT NOW!!!! So much to do and so little time to do it all in. Went to the Doc and only gaines 2 pounds in 3 months. So not too bad for being a slacker. Now I just got to work it so I can relax.

Okay, I lied. I will post tonight and then I'm going to bed....time change is killing me....really only 8:28 in my body, but 11:28 on my clocks! This will take some getting used to!

Flight was good but ran into some bumps and roller coaster drops once we got into the VA area (storms) and saw some INCREDIBLE lightening out the plane window! WOW~just glad they were far away and not closer! Raining here but still in the 70's! Tori did great but the DVD battery ran out too soon....gotta have that checked! So she then took a nap and woke up about 10 minutes before we landed. Once she saw daddy waiting for her, she screamed "Daddy!" and went running into his arms! Started tearing up right there. She's missed him so much in just the last couple of days. Everyone was "awwing" when she did that! Felt like a commercial or something!

Had a great time (Trish, you have got to start making plans to come out this summer!!!) but so good to be home.

Trying to get the little one in jammies and off to bed. Having visions of daddy taking her in the morning somewhere and letting me sleep in.....I miss my naps! Too much fun to take a nap this past week!!

ps - Steve, you were a great conversationalist! Had a fun time talking to you too! How was the call? Everything okay? Told DH about our conversation and he's siked about meeting up with you all!!

Anyone know how soon I would have to get to the Adult Beach on CC to get a couple of chairs? My mom and I both are disabled and have a hard time walking so we are not sure if we will lose out on chairs if we take the tram rather then run (which we can't do)

I can't wait to go but I have no energy to do anything to get ready for it my work is just exhausting me and I just have no idea where to start in terms of finishing my packing. Its half done but I just can't seem to get in gear!

Amy, every picture I see of the Adult Beach - Serenity Bay - seems like it's deserted. No problems with chairs at all. I also think chairs on the family beach are no problem either. It's tha hammocks that take racing too there - but even those on the adult beach seem to be OK to come by. Take your time - just enjoy yourself and consider yourself lucky that you can just spend time at Serenity Bay.

Suzie, glad you're back! Glad you had a safe flight - with some excitement.

Off to fill out my docs on-line - and yes, I haven't done that yet. Told you all - you are sooo going to have to keep on me for everything we need to do as we get closer.

Well, We decided to go ahead and plan more of the cruise this weekend. So we are booking at the Radisson for the cruise and taking the shuttle to the ship. Bottom line is, I get a hotel for 35.00. Sommer is bookingher spa packages, so the money is well needed.
