OH NO!!!! Ed is much ......well, Ed is much cuter! No, that's just a pic from that website that I thought was pretty appropriate! Nope this is my handsome guy!

Told you we liked chili! This was from our Labor Day campout last year! 7 gallons of chili in our turkey fryer stirred with a child's canoe paddle! Bit a drop left after that weekend!!!

I want to thank everyone for their concern in the wee hours of the Am and today for my inability to make ressies. Thanks for calling Suzie, I got your message, but I was at work by that time. Its the darndest thing. I can log into the Disney site at work, but not on my home computer. I tried again tonight and it still won't let me. By the time I got to work all the good days and times were taken at Palo (really, no big deal), but I was able to register the kids.

Suzie, also wanted to let you know that I booked Happy Limo last week to take us to the ship in their Sprinter Van (holds 14 and luggage). I told them you gave me the recomendation. They remembered you and Gary remembers Tori. She must make quite an impression. We should be at the port by 10:30, so who knows maybe there will be some Palo ressies left by the time we get to the ressie desk

Now that the mad dash is over to make ressies...has anyone checked out the "Talk Like a Pirate dot com" I think we should teach the kids one of those songs for pirate night. Might make an impression on Capt. Hook or Mickey .

In The Mood, did you know who Steve was before when I ask you? That is awesome, Steve you are still in with the Pirates, you have just become "The Blonde Portuguese Medic Pirate" named El Dr. Toehead, one of the a part of the famous and feared Magical Crews to sail the Eastern Caribbean Seas. Any other of you might want to come out with the truth, before we find out and have us a Plank Walking while On board.

Thank you everyone! I am so excited about this baby! Can't believe it finally happened. I'm feeling good right now but tired alot...normal...guess that's why I've been napping so much lately!

Tori was so sweet this morning. Helped me make scrambled eggs and toast. She helped mix the eggs, add the pepper and then buttered the toast! AWWWW!!! I told her those were the best eggs I've ever had! She so loves to help in the kitchen but with our new stove we got last year, the top stays so hot I'm afraid to let her near it. She did just fine! Now if I could only get Ed to .....just kidding! He does more meat cooking than I do - not my thing and I can never tell when it's done - thank God for my George Foreman grill!!

74 days!!! Really, that's it?!?! Gosh! I look at the very first post and it was 500 + days! Wow! Time flies, eh?

Realized today that our tax refund (once we file) will be so nice on the cruise! OH HO! Forgot about that! Don't know why but I did....Just have to get some donation things clarified and we are ready to go!!! Gonna try to TurboTax this year - tired of paying $300 for the CPA and he makes us wait an hour for our appt! It's only gotten worse over the years! So, wish me luck!

Gosh, I know there was something else I was going to ask about the cruise...darned it I can remember now. The check back from the IRS blew everything from my mind!! Oh, well...there's always later!

I vouch for the fact that inthemood has been around a long, long time - the list that Julie started and I picked up on had her as one of the first chekeriners.

BUT - this blond picked up on the fact that you both were from RI, you both were travelling with others, and well, suspected that you had to maybe know each other, maybe, just for the shere fact that your state is so damn small!

mketting - I went over to a department store that is merging with Macy's yesterday (Filene's for all you Rhodies) and they had their bathing suits at 50% off - well, who can pass that up? But I didn't have time to try one on (hate trying on bathing suits - no make that loathe it). So I bought one that I loved that just spoke to me off the rack and took it home. Only then did I realize it was a size 10. The last time I went bathing suit shopping it did not go well, I kept having to go up and up and up with the suits I was bringing back to the fitting room. So I about died. But, I went upstairs and tried it on just to see if the style was what I liked.


OH MY GOD!!!! It FIT! IT FIT!!!!!!!

I immediately went to my closet to get out my size 10 pants - and they fit toooooooooo!!!! Well, some of them, I need to work on this some more, that's for sure. But hey, little miracles are always nice.

Suzie - I have been using Turbotax for several years and I really like it. I worked on our taxes a couple of weeks ago - thought I would get that refund back! HUH - We have to pay - The AMT (alternative minimum tax) has got us! Like we don't already pay enough! The hazards of a two income household! I usually have the taxes done in February - looks like I will be waiting until April to file.

Julie - Thanks for the countdown. I am going to print them each day and put them on the fridge.

Kills us everytime too. Sucks to be in the middle class. Our accountant tells us every year that we make too much money ~ WHAT!!!!!! ~ You tell that to my mortgage, car payments, day care bills, gasoline for two commuters, heating an old house, and basic costs of living every week. Day care is what really kills us. It really is true that you save money by staying home.


jewelgrrl - you tell you husband WAY TO GO!!!!!!!!! I have lost nothing, but for me, it's all about the clothes! After a baby it's about redistributing the excess issues.
