Yes, and me too, ditto to what Suzie said (clearly she is going to be the sweet, nice one and I need to stick close to her), I often come accross as the grumpy DIS'r and lots of Pixie Dust carrying people get all in a huff over what I say. I totally respect you for asking for a specific rotation and do not think you are being silly in the least if its important to you. I simply have other things to worry about, like CAN I EVEN GET RESSIES BEING A FIRST TIME DCL'R!!!!!!!??????

Suzie, and for everyone else, here is the recap as best as I can tell:

Its pretty simple actually (and totally going to screw a bunch of people up). The first night, Saturday night, the clubs will only be Family Time - no drop off and leave the kids that first night. Its just an open house. If your children have sign out priviliedges they will be able to stay on their own. If they do not, a parent will need to stay with them - even in Flounders. lbgraves put up the December navigators here and she is the one telling everyone about the changes. http://www.wdwinfo.com/Photos/DCL-Navigator-Eastern-Dec/index.htm

We had APLAPLA which put us in Parrot Cay on formal night and this is what I have to say about it...IT WAS NO BIG DEAL!!! In fact, we really liked our rotation because obviously the kids favorite restaurant was Animator's Palate and we got to do it 3 times!!! It was the one that they were most looking forward to so they were excited to do it on the first night. Just my 2 cents...

In repling to Susie....You forgot to start your sentence with RIDDLE ME THIS :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hey inthemood! - I cleaned up my PM box - you were trying to reach me a while back. I am sorry. I have been having private discussions with the person renting me the points for my stay prior to the cruise and they have been chocking up my mailbox. Sorry.

Feel free to PM away.

By the way - yeah - today has been one free flowing thought day, that's for sure. :rotfl2:

OK - I really am working today, really - and I have been up to a lot of stuff at work - but its just a day for goofing off too here at the DIS - so I have some fun links for you all now:

Here is one of the most fun trip reports I have read in a long time - its long and its a bunch of 20 year olds who act like 20 yo that you wold rollyour eyes at - but man, did they have fun! http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=790556

Here are directions to the character warehouse outlets from another DIS'r:

going West on I-4

Exit 68 - Follow all the way around (thru the light) and you'll come across a HUGE factory outlet mall. The Disney store (character premiere) is on the other side of the food court, directly to the right.

Exit 75A - Turn right at the first light, Left at the second (onto Int. Blvd) Follow the road all the way down to the Belz Factory Outlets. YOu'll want to turn into the left hand side of the building - the right side is a strip mall outlet. There is a Disney outlet store in building 1 ( i beleive its in entrance 3) And then my favorite disney outlet store in building 2.

Hey its Saturday and we have three soccer games, one for each of the three princesses. Had a bunch of our fellow cruisers over last night for Linds 10th Bday party and we had the laptop all over the house checking out the navigators and the menus. We are definately doing the wine tasting, and has anyone looked at the last page of a couple of the navs, and seen the Martini flights? I think we might be in for that, by the way in checking out the drinks of the day does anyone know what happened to the Purple Diamond, had a request for one last night and could not do it.

Alright we gotta go see ya, oh yeah how did we end up on page 2?

Tom pirate: pirate:

oh yeah how did we end up on page 2?
Okay, call me the dumb blonde. I've seen this "page 2" remark before but have no idea what the heck it means. Could someone PLEASE enlighten me. I feel so out of touch....

Shyla, thanks for all the info on WDW and shopping. I definitely want to go back to Epcot and AK. And the outlets sound great.

Susie, I hope your feeling better. Heck of a way to lose weight. I think we end up on page two when our posts drop off, but after all the posts from Shyla yesterday, I don't know how that happened.

Today I have a baby show and a 40th birthday party tonight. Not to mention a wedding to go to tomorrow. Busy weekend.

Has anyone looked into the Doubloon sail and snorkle in St. Thomas? There was a post on the main cruise board about it.

Also, has anyone else read the article about Castaway Cay and its former owner. It has quite a history. You can find it online at Outside Magizine, January 1999. Its called "Blackbeard Doesn't Come Here Anymore". The web site is hhtp://outside.away.com/magazine/0199/9901blackbeard.html Great reading.

Must run for now. So many parties...so little time.

I forgot to thank Ohjulie and Jewelgrrl for all the great tips. Thanks. I've printed them for my folder so I have some references when we get to Orlando.

Lonly Wife here. Kirk left Tuesday for Arizona, i really enjoyed the first few days, having time to myself in the evening after the kids went to bed, and having the bed all to myself to sleep in but I'm ready for him to be home now. Luckily just 2 more days. I am so glad he doesn't have to travel like he used to or like some of your husbands do now.

OUR WEATHER
Yeasterday 60 today 26!!!
Yesterday the kids were Rollerblading and skateboarding with no coats, today they could go sledding!!

Dining Rotation- No offense taken here. I know I have serious OCD when it comes to this trip. (this cruise meet has made it even worse) For anyone who does want to put in a request you can call Debbie at 1-407-566-7411. The timing turned out to be the bigger deal to me than the order but I'll be fine with whatever we are given.

CG- I didn't feel like the show had any great revelations either. It made me thankful that Jared has such a wonderful daddy to teach him how to be a man and made me glad we have Jared swimming this year because it gives him a chance to use all that excess energy!!

PartyPat- A whole extra week before the cruise, lucky you. We fly in Wednesday before but you should be really relaxed by the time you get on board!

Hi all--
I have been sitting back just reading the posts for the past couple months. Nothing was new for me to report. However... I was stressing so much about our late dining assignment, I actually had a few sleepless nights! :worried:
We found out on Jan 5, we have been bumped to main dining. :teeth: The dining rotation is the least of my worries now that I know my DD5, will not be snoozing at the dinner table!!!!!

Now I am waiting to book on-line reservations on 1/29! We also got a GREAT deal thru AAA, for the Cocoa Beach Hilton on 4/28. ($78.00 a night!) The offer was gone the next day.. up to ($97.00).

Take Care
-Sue

Well. things are starting to come together. We are paying off the cruise today!!!

I booked our flights a couple of weeks ago. We are coming in on Friday evening. I am SOOOO jealous of all of you who are going to DW before the cruise :wizard: We don't want to take the older kid's out of school any more than we have to - so we will be getting DS off the bus at 3:00 going to pick DD up at school and off to the airport.

I used some Marriott points, so we will be staying free at the Airport Marriott on Friday. Then some kind of transportation on Saturday mornig to CC. Anyone have ideas on this? There will be 11 of us. I am starting to check on pricing with the different Limo companies. Any preferences or good and bad experiences? I know we can all fit in a van, but I am hoping to surprise the kid's with a Limo at least on the way down.

We are going to Dave and Busters today to celebrate my son's 13th Birthday. His B-Day was actually Friday, but he was camping this weekend. He will also be having 5 boys for a sleepover in a couple of weeks - Heaven help us! ;)

Can I just say that when you are sick, you get lots of reading and conversation?! We finally sat down and went through our Passporter looking at the excursions.

I think (99.9% sure!) this is what we will be doing:

St. M - Butterfly Tour in the morning and then to the beach near the pier in the afternoon not sure if this is Great Bay but really like the sounds of Tom and Julie's beach!)

St. J - Do the Island Tour and then back to the boat for pool time or possibly find a beach nearby? Really just want to see the islands there. Might even try to do the Sightseeing tram - even though I'm terrified of heights!

CC - nothing but beach, baby! Hoping for a hammock but will be satisfied with a chair near the water....and a good book in one hand and a drink in the other!

Jan 29th is the day! Can't believe we can book then! Unfortunately, we will be doing it the 30th since we'll be on a late plane from Orlando on the 29th! Also want to try to do brunch at Palo's. I know I asked before, but does anyone want to do with us? I think I'm able to book for my than our party#, right? SOOOO happy they started the online thing instead of the hurrying up and run everyone over once you get on board!

Susie, I'm sure my family would be up for a group brunch at Palo's. Maybe we can get the private room. How do we go about making reservations for all of us?

PartyPat princess:

Congrats on getting your thoughts about the islands together Suzie. I am a mental hell about the whole thing right now. Trying to think about what we will doing. I am glad you are feeling better now. My sister got it over the weekend. One minute she was fine and we were having a football party - the next she was on the floor of the bathroom. It was BAD.

Sue - BIG CONGRATS to you for the new dining time - That must take a huge load off your shoulders! Sue, keep your eyes out for a Friday night pre-cruise get together too - We will be in Cocoa Beach right by the Hilton that night too as will the Bella&Rella family.

mketting - thanks for the kick in the butt! It's sorely needed. I am sooooo slothenly.

Julie - congrats on the payoff! I haven't done it yet. I have no suggestions on the limo. Sometimes, my sister uses a shuttle service that is fairly cheap - no frills, though. But I think the poard sponsor is good.

Here is my dodo brain child of the day! Was so excited that Tori's school was off today for teacher workday - they go through and clean each classroom thoroughly. Good thing this time of year. Then I look out the door and see all the neighborhood kids playing outside! Okay, so maybe the county schools have the day off too....call to leave a message with my friend (she's a teacher in the next county over) about a dresser we have for her. She picks up the phone on the second ring. I was so suprised and asked her if it was a teacher workday for them, too. Then she bursts my bubble and tells me today is a holiday! BWAAHAAA!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: What a dope I am! Worst thing is that Ed went into work!! He told me he couldn't figure out why traffic was so light! Now he's back home and we're meeting up with some friends to go bowling. Tori's never been so this should be fun! We used to bowl in a league a while back but I haven't bowled since I was PG with her!

I am at work!  My husband has the day off but he is working too to catch up. The kids' day care was open.

I'm off today too...Martin Luther King Day. I'm off to Curves in a few minutes and then plan to try, and I mean try, to book all 14 airfares. This should be interesting as we are flying out of 3 different airports on different days, paying for some and using air miles for others. Wish me luck.

PartyPat princess:

Disaster barely averted in our neighborhood today. Our neighbors behind us had their across the street neighbor lose control of her car as she started to back out of her driveway. She said the gas petal stuck and ended up crossing the street, then all the way through the yard, knocking down 3 trees, clearing out a wire fence and demolishing 2 sheds, the car stopped just before it got to our backyard. Our nextdoor neighbors fence was crinkled too. Thank goodness none of the kids in the neighborhood were out this afternoon, especially considering they were all of school today..

Party Pat- Hope you were able to get all the tickets. Good for you going to curves. (here that castlegazer :) I am in the exercise groove myself, heading on 2 weeks without missing a day.

St. John's- Kirk and I plan to do Capt. Nautica in the morning then return to the ship for lunch with the kids then all head back out to take the tram to the top of the island.

Sue 718- Where did you get that great deal for the Cocoa Beach Hilton? My sister needs to pick a place for Friday night also?
