4/25/09 Magic - First Visit To Tortola!

Chris, I'm having trouble printing the map on one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 paper. Any suggestions?? The first one you did printed great, now it is giving me trouble.

Thanks -

I'm sure I changed something, but the easiest might be to change the print setup on your side. What program are you trying to print from?

Chris, thanks for the inspiration! I actually copied the image and put it in a Publisher doc and it printed just fine. And I put it on legal paper so the image is a little larger - better for old eyes :cool1::cool1:

Have a great day! Not too many more. I just have to finish my budgets for work for next year before I leave :scared1:

My kitties don't get boarded but I leave them here to take care of the house - I expect them to clean and have a meal waiting for me when I get home :rotfl:. Well, I have 3 people lined up to feed them but it IS hard to leave them - they already recognize the suitcases and have that depressed look on their faces.

My rats and hamsters stay home too and I have a pet sitter coming every day to feed them. They usually don't need someone to look after them every day but 2 of my boy ratties need medication. It's hard to leave them. :(

Thanks for updating this!!! :worship:

No problem.

How is giving rats medication? I would guess it's worse than cats and that's pretty painful.

It's not too bad! We mix it with baby food and baby cereal and they lap it up usually!

Rebecca - that sounds soooo cute :)

Well, I guess everyone is winding up with preparation. I did some magnet stuff for our door last night but I'm not an artistic person but I'll be brave and put them up:thumbsup2

I guess some people have already headed south and others will be doing so in the next few days. I don't want to miss anyone so I'll wish everyone well - safe trips - and soon we will be sailing away from all problems and soaking up sun -- did you hear me??? SUN!!!!!! Focus :goodvibes

I'll be checking the boards the next two days but I'll see you all on Saturday at 3 or maybe even before (I'm going to print out the pictures and see if I can recognize you before you recognize me)

Have fun guys -- don't get stressed with the packing. Thanks for being such a nice group on this thread. :grouphug:

I am going to say "SEE Y'ALL REAL SOON" as we have a busy day today before we get up a 3 am and depart at 6:15 am tomorrow morning.

Yes, you can bring your own beach towels, but if you use the large bathroom towels, you do not have to worry about them (on Castaway Cay) if you forget to pick them up.

As for the other excursions, I really don't know:confused3 and we are doing water things:lmao:

Until we meet in person.....:hug::grouphug::cloud9:

Could someone that has the FE list in an excel or Word file email it to me? I am having trouble getting it by going back through the boards. My email is gatorvet @ flash.net (remove spaces).

Thanks,
Laurie

See you all on the boat!!!!!:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

To those who are leaving today or tomorrow - have safe, uneventful travels!

We won't be too far behind you. I work today and tomorrow and then we are out of here :woohoo::woohoo:

DH and I did decide what clothes and how much we are going to take last night. I don't like to put them in the suitcase too soon. I might change my mind :rotfl::rotfl: And I already have :rotfl2:

See all on the ship real soon.

Should we bring our own beach towels?

You can bring your own, but Disney will let you take a few of their towels. They are not "beach" towels per se, they are plain white absorbant bath towels. Or you can see it as a souvenior opportunity and buy one on the ship or at port!

As adnil530 said, you can use Disney's pool towels. Just pick them up at the pool before you leave for your excursion and make sure you bring them back!

To everyone who is leaving, have safe travels and we'll see you on Saturday!

We are not leaving until Friday afternoon so I'll be hanging around the boards until then. :rolleyes1
