4/17 still no Docs

Odd Doc Question if I may-

My docs will be arriving in FL at my friends rather than my house- do I need her to send mine to me or will I be okay in keeping them there and just having her read them over the phone to check them?

What information is on there that needs to be checked? Is it just the basic name, address thing?

I just don't want to take the chance of them getting lost between FL and UT but I also dont want them to be wrong and no time to change it-

I used Expedia for my first Disney Cruise. I knew that DCL sent the docs to Expedia, but Expedia was unwilling to tell me when I would get them.

Ultimately, 4 days before leaving, DCL sent me another set next day air.

Expedia told me that they had shipped them.

I came home to find another set of docs (From Expedia).

I won't book on Expedia again. I rebooked onboard and transferred the ressie to Dreams Unlimited.

I booked mine through AAA for 4/22 wonder and still have not recieved my documents but was told It should be next week.:

Dont panic we got our docs 9 days before we set sail... Just keep calling every day if need be !!!!

Biggest concern is for those who start a vacation early and won't be getting their mail!!! Doesn't do someone much good sitting at the Post Office!!!

Rec'd our documents for 4/17 eastern from DVC 3/25 via UPS. A friend rec'd hers' from TA on 3/23.

Hope they come soon for you.

I hope to see you there too! It's me, DH and DD age 7. Our first cruise ever too. We're really excited. I hope you get your docs soon.

Travelocity's price was right, but they sort of mislead me on the dining preference. All the communications I had with them were early seating, and one of the last e-mails I received (when the last part of the cruise was paid for of course) they listed late seating. I called them, they called Disney - they claim Disney had us listed as late seating all along, so Travelocity dropped the ball somewhere, or they list early seating for everyone and then Disney decides, which is kind of misleading. They provided the documents more than 1 month ahead, so I'm grateful for that. I'm pretty sure I can change our dining preference on board, but I would have rather avoided having to do so. We're in a veranda room on deck 6. Maybe we'll meet on board!
