Ok, at least I am not as bad as these girls that were in my girl scout troop when I was in middle school. When we went on a trip to the keys, every night two or three would wander the campground until they found a guy. They would shine the flashlight in his face and tell him his "rating" (i.e. 1 - 10)!!!! Now THAT is bad.

I just received an email from Daniel Taxis in Madeira in response to an inquiry. She said she was told from someone else trying to book a tour that we dock at 0845. Does anyone know anything about this? On DCL's website it still says 1030.

Good Morning, folks. Yesterday's official snowfall was 12.8 inches.

Hope you get more computer time, kileybeth. I didn't lose power yesterday either. But my daughter in No. Wilmington did for several hours--a little dicey since her 3-year-old son is just getting over pneunomia.

This whole area (Philly, DE, Baltimore--and probably DC) has set new records for snowfall in a single season. And it looks like we'll get a bit more early next week.

CAN THIS CRUISE COME SOON ENOUGH?!!

Today I was searching around for something for my DD's valentines for her class. I came across this and thought of you women! Here are a few princes for you guys!

I am not sure about the princes....nice to look at but....the real pretty ones are usually high maintenance

Everything I read said 10:30 as well. I looked at a few Disney excursions to check the start times and the beach one starts at 10:15am. A bunch of others have a start AND finish time of 10:30am. I think Medeira is messed up on the Disney site.

The place we picked in London made an error, and does not have ANY size en suite rooms available.

So were're back to square one, and going though our list again. THEN I came up with the brillient idea of applying my bonus (that I just found out I was getting, so it's like not 'real' money) to a hotel that was nice but had been considered too costly. So, if the girls agree, we can have a nice place in Hyde Park to stay and have a couple nights that might feel a bit more luxurious than 3 ladies stuffed in an inside cabin!

Personally - I'd prefer the upgrade ON the ship

We're also using Daniel's Madiera taxi and I told them 11am since we dock at 10:30. I'd love it if we docked earlier because we want to catch the flower parade at 4.

OK, I just got off the phone with DCL and they said we would be able to get off the ship at 0845 in Madeira. But with the stipulation that it could always change. And to check the Navigator onboard. The Navigator doesn't help much when trying to plan NOW, does it?? Maybe I should have asked them to mail me a copy??? Anyway, I will make our plans with that new time in mind.
