The outlets in the bathrooms... can they handle curling irons and the such? My parents are doing the WB cruise in September and they were asking.

---Use the outlets at the wardrobe / seating area. There are also a few extra outlets behind the television as well - ideal spot for charging batteries

OK, after two weeks of frantic (mostly for Monica) plans and arrangements....what do I need to do next?

Maybe a small lull without thinking about the cruise would be nice...yeh, like THAT'S going to happen!

All transportation arrangements are made (flights, cars, transfers), all hotel arrangements are made, budget written up, I guess we're done with the urgent stuff.

LATER, will need to get Euros, arrange for mail being held, contact Bank/Visa about travel plans (they want you to wait till 30 days out for that).

I suppose......I could always go SHOPPING!

I plug my curling iron in there. Usually I use the one in the main cabin by the dressing table to leave the bathroom free for the rest of the family though. It has a chair and a mirror so it's very convenient.

Unbelieveable, what the people doing the name calling don't seem to realize is that they are actually describing themselves



Dh will bring laptop he has unlimited global wireless broadband that will work at ports on TA and MED. We will download photos frequently.

Probably bring one additional laptop since we are a large family.

Kids have netbooks but we will leave them home, laptops better for watching dvds on travel home day, long flights and airport layovers.

Yes, they are ususally describing themselves. One person (many years ago) called me a "stupid ......". Um..... you dropped out of high school and I have a Master's degree completed in one year. Who is the stupid one?

The "......" doesn't bother me as it does some people. Just like I don't have a cow when someone misspells my name. There are 12+ ways to spell it, unless you are writing me a check or its a legal document, I don't get upset if you misspell it.

I've had a REALLY bad day today. I was suppose to have an MRI but the idiots at Shands booked me at the wrong MRI and I didn't find out until last night. When I called today, I can't get into the right MRI until March 19th.

Some personal stuff occurred and I had to go ahead and take today off work to deal with them (the phone counselor I talked to was not really all that helpful - he sounds like he was reading from a script).

Anyway, I'm a bit better now (4pm) after a LONG nap - just drained.

Thanks for listening, I promise I won't have ISSUES on the cruise. That's what the cruise is for.... leaving all the "......" behind.

Not bringing any computer .... none of us. Also, our Blackberries are going off, in the safe only to be used when we return stateside!

I don't have a blackberry, but that's the same with my cell phone. Now my ipod iTouch - THAT will have to recharged constantly as I listen to music and play the games I've loaded.

I have to clarify... I am not officially sailing alone....My DS (14) is with me...but once he finds some new buddies/activities on the cruise he is gone and its like sailing alone. Not a complaint..I like that he has some independence but I do demand some family activity time too

Oh,those two words have been the bane of my existence this week and last. I work for an NBC affiliate and things have hopping in the sales department! Shouldn't complain, overtime and Olympic bonus will mean more $$ to play on the ship and in the ports!

We are bringing our laptop. We had to do so on our last cruise because I had just started an on-line class. Let me say, bad idea. Laptop this trip for checking in with family and uploading pictures.

Trying to get through another month of temporary work and earning the excursion dollars, the spa treatments and souviners.
