I just realized why you don't call yourself a cougar. You live in Florida, where cougars are called "panthers."

This is my family's first cruise on DCL and we are very much anxious to get onboard and start having fun!! I have just joined the DISboard and am trying to absorb all the information you've been passing back and forth...thank you for it!!
I have a quick question - is it too late to sign up for the lanyard/nametag? If not, how do I sign up for it for my family?

No charge for the name tags, we've got a team giving them as a gift to all the DISboard cruisers. Just check the spelling of your names on the website (see http address in my signature, below); let me know if any corrections are needed.

Just so none of the new people get scared (we are talking about wild cats; it can be frightening), all these women who are single are on a DISNEY cruise, not one of the party boats. You have not gotten into a hotbed of crazies (well, that might be pushing it). If you jumped over all the posts and landed at this point, you can go back to square one and see what it took for us to get to know each other this well and be able to scrap).

I, for one, am a rather tame person. I don't even hang out at bars and usually only drink some champagne a few times of year.

Hmm, makes me think of another QOTD (although I did not get much response from the photo question).

Always got to cheer for Cerie - my favorite player, ever (and she is a nurse). Love that she was a couch potato who couldn't even swim before she applied. Read in an article that they really didn't think they would cast her; and then they had the interview. The rest, as they say, is history. Isn't that Tom Westman smart, though, thinking they needed to get rid of one of the best strategic players (Cerie) early before it is too late?

I didn't start watching until a several episodes into Palau (Season 10). I skipped China after watching the first 15 minutes - both my dad and I felt no connection with the grungy-looking cast. Funny that there 3 of them on this season!

Now the Villains - they think of themselves as "all that and a bag of potato chips, too." What a bunch of megalomaniacs. Does make for some entertainment, especially since the "greatest player in Survivor history" has arrived on the scene! I think Russell honestly believes that. But he seems to forget it is OUTPLAY OUTWIT OUTLAST. OUTLAST is the the final straw. It's not a merit raise, it's a democratic vote.

Pop the corn, next 12 weeks, here we come.

BTW Lynne, that's a great-looking drink!

Isn't it, though? It was quite good. And we were sitting right by the ocean (no beach, just right by it, straight down), looking across to Molokai.

Wow, that looks yummy! My all-time favorite drink (other than soda, LOL) is a Virgin Pina Colada. I'd love to try DCL's non-alcoholic concoctions!

Just checking: Are my fiance and I going to get lanyards and red DCL boat name tags too? We are participating in the group FE. I just didn't see our names on the lanyard list. I posted awhile ago that we were interested in wearing the DIS lanyards , but it could have gotten lost or maybe I'm reading the website incorrectly. No big deal, but I just thought I should check, because we'd love to match with all of your Lime-green-ness!

I was just looking around on the DCL website for our cruise, and noticed that, just this afternoon categories 6, 7, 8, and 9 went from lots of rooms available to GTY status. That may mean they have begun the stateroom shuffle, and those with GTY status may get their assignments before too long, don't you think?

Just checked and it's still GTY, just have to wait and see.
It would be nice to know the room # now and also if we got an upgrade or not, but i just have to be patient......

Sometimes i will sometimes i don't it just depends on what kind of drink it is that day....
Emiel will not drink much alcohol, he is a diabetic so he drinks sometimes a glass of wine but not as often as i drink.....

I can't say about DCL, but I have you down as 2 running Donald name tags (just like the one in my signature - with your names, of course!) + lanyards. We wouldn't forget you. You must be Maybe you should go to bed before 3:00 am and get some sleep.

I need to get to bed since the final round of Jeopardy! College Tournament starts in less than 9 hours.

I will probabaly not on most days....maybe if there is one that really interests me...but otherwise no. (Even if they do offer non alcoholic ones)

1. I dont want to have to pay for a drink if I have free water, soda or coffee!
2. I don't like drinking my calories and I can bet that they have lots of sugar in them.

Doing Weight Watchers, so I'm less likely to drink anything other than water and no-calorie drinks. I may have a beer or a glass of wine, but I also do not like drinking my calories.
