I am planning a trip to Disney with DW, DS7, DD5, and DD3 during the 3rd week in June 2007. How crowded can I expect it to be? How long to wait for rides like Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear, etc? How hot does it get and will it be so crowded that I will end up sticking to some other sweaty tourist everytime I turn around?
Our 1st trip was in May 2005 so we missed the school outflux and I am concerned that it will be so crowded that it will almost be unbearable.
Any info and tips would be appreciated.

We went June 18-23rd and it was not as bad as I thought it would be. It was pretty crowded, but not miserable. The magic word is FAST PASS, FAST PASS FAST PASS.

I always rely on the Best Days Guide. The crowd predictions are usually right on the money. For a 4 or 5, the crowds are very managable. For a 6 or more, you must be prepared a little more and be sure to make use of Fast Pass. Luckily, I have never experienced anything more than a 6....and what a 6 it was. lol

Our three day get away has 2 5's and a 6. We are zigging as the masses zag. We will use Fast Pass. We will be at AK when the gates swing open. We will go to MNSSHP instead of a park on our last day, which is a 6. I am prepared to tackle the parks.

Good luck and happy planning. Maggie

PS.....I am having a one track mind problem. I read your post originally as being about a trip the 3rd week of September. Forgive my odd reply.

We were there the 3rd week of June in 2005 and it was hot and sticky. Not that crowded though. I took my mom and 3 kids for a week and we still had a ball.

But, that being said, we did get major thunderstorms every day and it was very sticky. I would said the temps were in the 90's but the humidity was pretty much off the richter scale. I know this is typical for Florida, but maybe it felt really hot because we have always gone in cooler months, Feb,Oct,November and even May.

Even thought it was so hot, I would not hesitate to go again at that time. I don't think I personally would want to be there in July or August with all the crowds, but I can definitely handle the heat if the crowds aren't too bad.

I'm sure you would have a wonderful time!!!

We've gone this week and it is crowded but we've always used a touring plan and done just fine. We've used the Unofficial Guide, www.tourguidemike.com, and www.buildabettermousetrip.com. Our longest wait was about 20 minutes. But we went went friends who aren't touring plan people and they had some long waits - they waited over 50 minutes just to get on a ferry or monorail to the maingate at Magic Kingdom.
