Hi! We're heading down to WDW for Christmas 2006 and we'd love to have a DISMeet! How about meeting in front of the Boardwalk Bakery on Friday, December 22nd at 3pm? I'll see if I can order a large cookie tray to share with everyone who stops by. You can also get hot chocolate, coffee, or soft drinks inside the Boardwalk Bakery. Anyone who's going to the last MVMCP that night should still have enough time to get over to MK by 7pm. The 22nd is also an EMH night for Epcot, so you will have until midnight to walk around Epcot after the meet. Let me know if you plan on stopping by so I can order enough cookies! See you there!

P.S. We can all exchange our YOAMD stories and take a group picture in front of the huge Christmas tree in the Boardwalk courtyard! I plan on being at the Boardwalk Bakery with my family from 2:30pm-3:30pm. Hope to see you there!

I think we are going to MVMCP that night, but did you know that you can get in the party at 4:00 pm? We will probably do that as that gives use more time there. But maybe you could have the get together a little earlier in the day, like 2 or 3. Just a suggestion! I bet the cookies from the Boardwalk are fantastic...Mmmmmm.

Hi! I looked at our schedule and having a DIS Meet earlier in the day would work for us, too. That way, people who are going to MVMCP would have enough time to get to MK. Let's take a vote on what time would be the best for everyone. I'll post a poll in this thread...

An earlier meet time would work better for us (and thanks for the info about being able to get in for the party at 4 p.m. - we have season tickets and are "blacked out" on the 22nd which is why we opted to do the party).

So I voted for 2 p.m. for the Meet Plenty of time to visit and STILL make it over to the park for the party early.

Sure! I think I'm going to plan on being there from 2pm-4pm. So, everyone can get there when it's the best time for them. We're staying at the Boardwalk for almost two weeks in December, so I'm sure I'll bump into you! I'd love to work at the Boardwalk!

We're heading down to WDW for a quick Halloween trip, and I'll stop by the Boardwalk Bakery to find out what kind of cookie trays I can order for our meet. I'll post again when I get back with the info!

Cute! I vote for the secret handshake! LOL! There are several tables with chairs out in front of the Boardwalk Bakery, and I'll try and save a few of them for the meet. I'll have the cookie tray set up on one of the tables and everyone can help themselves. I figure we can talk about our WDW holiday vacations and compare notes on who got what for the Year of a Million Dreams celebration! Maybe we can even walk over to the Boardwalk courtyard and take a group picture in front of the huge Christmas tree. I'll post more details about the meet when we get closer to the date!

Thanks! We're not actually going to be staying at the Boardwalk in October. We'll be at the Contemporary, checking out the new rooms in the tower! I'm going to walk over to the Boardwalk Bakery to ask about the cookie tray on one of the days we're planning on doing Epcot and the Food & Wine Festival. If you don't mind my asking, where can we find you in December at the Boardwalk, do you work the front desk, in the office, or somewhere else? You can PM me if you don't want to answer here!
