Hello and thank you in advance for the help. My situation: I only have 1 day at the parks and we plan on doing 3 parks in one day. This is mid may.

1. EMM at Hollywood studios to get on the toy storyland rides. Regular park opening Doing TT and RnR. Maybe muppetvision or volm

2. Walk or take ferry boat to Epcot. Mostly there to do food booths at f&g. Main rides/mg are soarin and Ralph meet. Frozen is a plus not a must

3. Monorail to MK. Goal here is the main rides. We haven't done mk in a few years so we want to do pirates hm sm splash.

My dilemma. Since we want to do most rides at mk, should I do my 3 fp for that, even though it is at night? I've noticed that mk is usually out of fp at 6pm

If this was your itinerary, what would you do for fp?

Thank you! I should note that I have successfully done the refresh method at multiple parks before to get on all the great rides, and I would want to do that again. My concern is fastpasses running out at MK

Unless the park is closing at 7 I've never seen FP run out at 6. I've had no trouble getting FP during the last hour with refreshing. Obviously rides like Space, PP and 7D are far more difficult to get (and I've had issues with BTMR last few trips) I've gotten pretty much everything else fairly easily with moderate refreshing.

(That being said, I'd still do FP at MK based on your outline above).

Mk open til 9 tonight but all out of fp at 720. Am I missing something?View attachment 386716

That often happens towards end of evening. You just need to refresh. If I remember correctly, to refresh from this screen you need to select a different date and then go back to that days date. You should definitely be able to reaccess FP at 7:20 on a 9pm closing.

Get the FP that you want. Since it is late in the day, it should be easier as most people want the FP early in the morning. Stack them as close as you can. I do 3 or 4 parks in a day sometimes, and try to gauge time as close as possible. If I am arriving at MK by 5:30, the I try to get my first FP at 5:00 or 4:45. You have 10 minutes after the end time, so you have some wiggle room. Then stack them up, and you may have time to grab a few more.

It may be tougher to get the premier rides as a FP late in the day, but it is possible. You will also find when you check, everything may be gone, and 10 seconds later there may be 10 attractions open.

Sounds like a fun day for sure.

I would absolutely book the three FP+ early in the morning. So whichever park you are going to first. And then go read the threads on 'refresh method'.

We had great success with refreshing in August, while we did get some options last week, it wasn't nearly as successful with the top rides. Since you're going to EMM that day and are most interested in the F&G booths, I'd be inclined to use the FP for your 3 top attractions in MK in the late afternoon and then you should still be able to get several more there in the evening.
