3G coverage in FW

How is 3G coverage in FW for internet connection. We have Verizon.
I am looking to tether my phone and then share the connection other devices. Do you get a decent enough connection to do this?

We have Verizon and I have a Blackberry and air card for my laptop. Never tried tethering but have always had a good signal in and around the Fort and parks.

Same here with the Verizon Netbook, usually 4 bars if not 5.

I had no problem using my T-mobile my touch 3g. I used the internet right on the phone without any issues, 4 bars usually.

I usually get a decent signal with At&t but have had mixed results while tethering to my netbook. Seemed that early morning produced better results rather than afternoon or evening when it crawled.

I get Verizon broadband Rev A. coverage on my internet wireless card at the site in FW all the time so I think the coverage is great and as good as at home.

can you tell me how you tether your At&t phone to your computer, I was told that u can't do it with At&t, btw I am very tec challenged.

I downloaded the Tether application from Blackberry App World and it works via my BB usb cable. The app is normally $50 but I got it half off during a special. It is nice because it is a one time fee. I only use it very sparingly so that the data does not accrue heavily. I'm not sure if it is available for other brands of phones.

My Nokia E-71x through AT&T has a PC Suite software download for the laptop that works to synchronize the phone to your PC. That software download from Nokia has a tethering option built in. I have not tried it yet, but probably will in the near future.

That's pretty sweet. That's the phone I got last christmas, and it's been pretty good to me.
