Anybody remember this? I think it was in MGM when we were there in 1989. I remember thinking that was the best 3D I had ever seen in my life. I can't remember the name of it,any help? thanks

Are you talking about the former 80's attraction in Epcot called Captain EO?

i remember captain eo. thanks for the link michaelwilliammidd, now i can prove it existed to my fi.

When my parents took my siblings and I for the first time to WDW-there was only MK and Epcot. We were there for opening day of MGM but couldnt get near it. Anyway-we saw Captain EO. How funny!!

Epcot ! WOW I guess the mind is the first thing to go. I was sure it was in MGM. Thanks for your keen memories, now I won't be up all night thinking about it. Captain EO, was that a great show or what.

Yup I remember seeing it when i was about 6. I almost forgot about it. Thanks for jogging my memory. :teeth:

I miss this show!!! I remember the lady with the sharp, long fingernails..... OH! gives me chills just thinking about it! :p

In 1990 we had our then 2 year old at DL with us and, of course, he wanted to have a pair the glasses to see Captain EO. Towards the beginning it looks like a rock is going to hit you in the face. As soon as he saw this he flipped himself into chest and instantly fell asleep. That rock terrified him.

Wow! That was one of the coolest shows ever!! :)

Does anyone rememeber that the lady with the scary fingernails was actually the actress Anjelica Huston? I loved Captain EO!

HAHA! I didn't realize that, but she sure was scary! :3dglasses (Especially with those darn glasses on!) :rotfl:

Ah, memories. I worked at Journey into Imagination in 1987 and worked at the Magic Eye Theater where "Captain EO" was shown then. I managed to get a bootleg copy of the film a few years ago and it sure brought back some memories. Sigh.....

We had a few guys that worked at the show that would stand on the side and do the choreographed moves to the dances. My favorite characters were the "creatures" though. Fuzzball the flying little red monkey like thing. Hooter the elephant. Idie and Odie the 2 headed creature.

Whenever Michael Jackson would come in to see the show (we would sneak him in the back wheelchair row which had its own door to the outside), somehow the show would usually break down (the maintenance guys thought they were soooo funny doing that!).

There was a character on Captain EO named Fuzz Ball. My brother has the stuffed animal. I told him never to get rid of it because it might be a collectible one day since the attraction is gone.
