Our Costco has a pretty good price right now for Polar Express 3D. I was thinking of getting it, but I have a question. If you buy a 3D DVD, and you don't want to use the 3D glasses, but rather watch the movie normally, does the movie look normal, or is there like a faint 3D trace to the movie. I know they have non-3D versions of the same movie, but I was wondering how this movie would look if I don't use the 3D effect.

Not sure about that movie, but we got Journey to the Center of the Earth and it has both versions.
If it only has a 3D version, then it will look strange to watch without the glasses on. It will have that blurry effect.
Does it have both versions on it?

Yup, we went to Costco, and sure enough there were both versions in the box. Not a bad deal. With the current exchange rate we got it (or them) for only about 10 dollars.
Now we're looking forward to watching it both ways. :thumbsup2
