How cute is that?

I decided that I'm going to make a shirt for each of us to wear on the first day to the parks! (MK of course!) Each person will have this image on the back and each persons individual head on their sleeve!

In other news......

Talk about waiting till the last minute eh? With barely an HOUR to spare before the Canadian free dining offer expires (today at midnight!) my parents finally booked! They are now staying at POR just like us. They will be there Sept 29-October 5th. Good thing is they can check out on the 5th and put their luggage in our room until the end of the day. They will then either take ME back to the airport and grab a rental car from there.....or take a taxi to the nearest rental car agency. They are planning to stay in Florida to visit our family who live down there for a few days before coming back to Canada.

Sounds like this is turning into an amazing trip! My DD and I got a kick from seeing large families with their matching shirts. With just the two of us we wondered how do they decide what to do next. We saw a group that had to have at least twenty people in it.

Thanks. Yeah I'm pretty excited. lol Yesterday I found our VHS from our last trip in March 1996!!! We did Universal too. It's fun to watch because I was very popular there. In one day I was picked to go on stage for the Earthquake show, the Ghostbusters show and on stage to play a game for Mardi Gras! I have to figure out how I can get it put onto a dvd so I can upload clips! It's funny!

heehee now I have to work on a cute design for you 2. I imagine something
with Mickey and Minnie dressed as star wars characters.

It shouldn't be too hard to find someone that owns a DVD recorder and a VCR. Then all you do is hook the two up press play on the VCR and record on the DVD recorder. I'd like to see this on YouTube someday.

Thanks for the offer but don't trouble yourself. I don't think my DD would get into wearing the same shirt as dear ol' dad. I have more Star Wars t-shirts then I know what to do with. I don't want to get rid of them but other then around the house on the odd day off I don't wear t-shirts much. This is cool never mind my DD(16) I want one for myself! I will have to make one when I have more time. Christmas is just such a busy time of the year at work for me I'll be putting in 12-13 hour days for the rest of the year. Hope I still have time for the DIS.

LOVE the DSi cases!! Super cute!!

So I bought my 8 year old son and my 5 year old daughter Nintendo DSi's for Christmas!

Ava gets a pink one and Braden gets a black one!

Coolest this is the cases that I found for them at Walmart!

I want to upgrade to an iPhone but since I've only had my BlackBerry for around 5 months it would cost me an arm and a leg to do that. So what I am going to do it get myself the new iPhone 4 and give my son the blackberry. So I need to go and buy a brand new case for it!

I am NOT at all ready for Christmas. I haven't bought any stocking stuffers yet. I'm off work next Wednesday (Dec 21st) so that's the day I'm gonna get it all done!

I'm having a blast playing with my new Photoshop. The more I play with it the more I feel just a little less pissed off! (learning new programs just make me mad!)

If you want a design that I've posted personalized for you just ask! I just won't be opening my own thread in the Creative DISigns. I did that before on a wedding site and it takes over your life. lol I can't do that with a full time job and three kids! But for anyone here following my PTR....or on the October 2012....I'd love to!

Merry Christmas everyone!

I bought way too many goodies (and a bottle of wine for me) and the kids are watching Kung Fu Panda 2 right now. Might as well keep them up since they get up SOOO early on Christmas.

I feel as though they will be dissapointed when they see how little is under the tree....but they know all our money is going towards the Disney trip. They are good kids so I'm sure I'm just being silly. I will end up overcompensating next year!

I can't WAIT till the Disney trip! My goodness it is seriously ALL I think about!

Me and the kids all got brand new suitcases for Christmas (they also got some toys from my parents...lol guess they didn't think suitcases would be a hit) and I was able to empty out my Disney stuff from my closet. Each persons items are now in their suitcases. I need to clean my room so badly so I can find somewhere to put them now! lol

As a parent who has given a trip for the major part of a holiday gift, I promise you they will love it! Young kids don't think super far ahead but it will click when they get there.


Glad you had a Merry Christmas. We went shopping today so the kids could use their gift cards. I am not a shopper by nature unless it's online but thankfully we went early enough and missed the crowds.

Thanks. I can't take total credit for them as I used graphics I found with Google Image search. I just used Photoshop to edit the colours and then put in our names. I edited sizes of stuff and placement. Like the mickey/minnie heads in the circle, that was all me.

The kids were excited by what they got and they seem to understand that the trip is where all of the money is going right now. My oldest even said "I can't even think of anything I'd want." My little ones just got picked up by their dad today and they are now getting presents from their dad, auntie and grandparents.

We, like you, had a small Christmas and my kids were not disappointed either. My hubby started to feel bad on Christmas Eve when everyone was posting up pictures on facebook of all of their kiddies' goodies massively piled under the tree. I just looked at him and said, their kids may be getting more stuff, but our kids are getting DISNEY. The full experience. Even though its still a while away, they know its coming. They are saving every penny they find under the couch and are so so excited. Don't feel bad at all. It will all pay off when you are standing in front of Cinderella's castle with them and see the looks on their faces. I've never been to WDW, but that daydream is what keeps me going. Glad you guys had a happy Christmas!!!
