I know the feeling. It was so great when we got to book our tickets in february for our trip february 2013. We have even booked our Disney package with Disney

Awesome news on your flights!!! We also live in MN but quite a long way from Mnpls so don't fly out of their airport. Instead we use a smaller one an hour away and the flights are outrageous. Dumb airfare!

OMGOSH I am so excited today!!

Yesterday I found the BEST flight! As you've seen flights from Manitoba are ridiculous! Right now for the 4 of us I was looking at $3000 at LEAST if we flew out of Winnipeg.

WELL....I found a great flight on Delta Air Lines out of Minneapolis yesterday! ONLY $1638.40 (that's with tax INCLUDED!)



So this morning I excitedly called Disney and gave them my flight information so they could add it to Disney's Magical Express!

Awesome!!!

We also found a great deal at the Best Western in Eagan, Minnesota (really close to the airport and Mall of America..less than 15 minutes) where if we book a suite (and we DID!) our parking at the hotel was unlimited during our trip! And the lady MIS QUOTED me the price. She said $129 plus tax. Turns out it SHOULD have been $169 but they are honoring the price she gave me through the reservation center.

Even better!!!

So we booked a suite on the 28th (2 queen beds - 1 for my parents, 1 for me and my daughter, and a sofa bed for the boys to share). We're gonna hit up Mall of America and hen go to sleep.

Yay for shopping!

Our flight is at 9:00am on the 29th and we'll get to Orlando by 1:13pm!

Excellent! Then you'll have time to settle into the room, check out POR, etc.

We're gonna check in to the same hotel and head to Mall of America again. Then the next morning we'll start the drive back to Manitoba.

Yay for more shopping!

Thanks!!! I was so excited! And I don't even mind the drive! Because THEN we can go to Mall of America. AND, Albertsville AND Target!!! I'll buy stuff then so I can just pack it in the Jeep! Clothes are more affordable in the US.

lol!! I love the "faint" smiley! Totally direct! Get on the plane in Minneapolis and we don't get off for 3 hours and then we'll be in Orlando!

Yeah! Time to check out the airport stores (lol), time for my dad to grab everyones luggage (he won't let it get picked up by ME) and get to the resort. We're gonna have some time to explore the Royal Room before we get on the boat to DTD! I'm gonna see where we wanna eat that night but I'm thinking they'll wanna check out Earl of Sandwich! I mean who doesn't like sandwiches?

lol Well If I had found a good flight out of Winnipeg we would have left Winnipeg around 5:30am. But the flights we found were DEFINITELY awesome! And I think it is a cool thing that the flight # is my birth year!

haha I tried. He refuses to leave the luggage at the airport. He doesn't trust anyone to do something he could do himself. So he will grab 2 luggage carts and we'll have my mom watch the kids as we grab all the suitcases! I'm ok with it. I guess cause he raised me and I kinda don't mind grabbing them so we know for sure we have them! Oh well. I'm looking forward to the ME ride and the movie. Hope we can sit near the FRONT of the bus so we can see the big Disney signs on the way in!!!!

Hmmm no I didn't even think to have them actually NOTE that. I made my ressies online so I didn't. But I called back to add the birthday celebrations. That's a good idea though!!! I have to call back and make my room requests so I'll get a call in to the ADRs and add that celebration to it!
