Last time I was there over Halloween (in 2019) they also had the pet costume contest and pumpkin carving contests. Both of those events were on the 30th, not the 31st.
I think they also have a DJ/party down on the beach on the night of the 30th (we'll know when the November Recreation Calendar comes out)-they did in the past. Like @Disneypeach said, the pet and pumpkin contest are judged on the 30th also.
The various golf cart parade, pet, and pumpkin winners are all announced at the DJ/party at the beach on the evening of the 30th (or they were when I was there in 2017).
Yep, you're right @tetera. That thread was originally a 2021 thread that kept getting pulled ahead into 2022. To eliminate any possible confusion, I pulled the pic over into your thread you started since it was a 2022 thread.
Although we might always clarify this-year-versus-that-year, I thought the separation helps.
One thing I noticed is that FW is not offering their "pumpkin patch" at the Meadow Trading Post that they have in recent years. They would set out bales of hay in the grass under the spanish moss oaks on the 900 side of the TP and place many orange pumpkins there that people could buy to decorate or use in their submittals for the carving competition. It was an attractive set-up. Here is my pic from my 2017 October visit:
Note that in this (2022) activities calendar, 2022 is strictly BYOP - Bring Your Own Pumpkin.
