38 1/2 Inches - Help Get My GD on the E-Ticket Rides

Congratulations on the ressies! I'm glad you got in when you wanted. :goodvibes

In August, our son was tall enough to go on Dinosaur at AK, but was literally a piece of paper width too short for Soarin and Test Track. A CM told us if we wanted, we could use our judement and let him ride Test Track, but I didn't push it. I figured he could do it on our next trip in January. We did get little business card sized cards that said something about him not being tall enough but that he would be soon and could ride the rides then. He loved them and is so excited to finally be tall enough to join his big brother and parents on the 40 inch rides. We measured him a couple weeks ago and he's grown almost 2 inches. His brother is sure going to miss the second rides he got to take with each parent while using the baby swap cards!

As many others have said the height requirements are there for the child's safety. Cast Members shouldn't budge on the height requirement. As someone who is a CM on a ride with a height requirement, it is not fun to tell a child who is a fraction of an inch too short that they have to wait until next time to ride the ride.
My recommendation is if she is close to explain to her she may or may not get to ride the attraction, and that the CMs are doing their job on keeping her safe, and you would never want to do anything that may get her hurt.
Also at the measuring stick make sure her feet are together and tell her to stand nice and tall like Cinderella.

You might use this as an opportunity to tell her parents to encourage her to eat her vegetables to help her grow!
