.

We did it Dec. 14...........walked right in. No wait at all.
Walked back about 1/2 hour later and there were 3-4 parties waiting.
It moves fast.
Darth is a no nonsense kind of guy :rotfl:

I went on a Friday night at about 5:30. There was only one party in front of me.
I agree that Darth is a no nonsense kind of guy. Hoping DD isn't too afraid to meet him next week.

We are planning on doing this in June and let me just say that my family is extremely excited to visit with Darth Vadar. I have seen some videos on YouTube with him and he seems like he will be fun to meet with :goodvibes.

How old is she?
DGD loves him, but she had only seen small versions. She wasn't too pleased with the real size :rotfl:
Wouldn't go back other days......she is 2 1/2.

She is 7 1/2 and loves all things Darth Vader and Star Wars. She likes to watch the characters from a far. We would love to have her participate in JTA, but she prefers to watch it instead.

This is her face when she saw him

She wouldn't go up to him alone.....she didn't like Santa Claus either

We were there in December, walked right up and had a great time. The line for the regular M&G was over an hour!

Loved my time with Vader. He came to the doorway, pointed at me then at the spot I was supposed to go to. I just stood there and stared him down. He then said "I sense that you sympathize with the Rebels, how unfortunate for you".
We bantered back and forth with me telling him that I will never bow to the dark side and I tried to remind him that he was good once. Ultimately I agreed to a photo, but told him that did not mean that I take orders from him. The photographer caught some great shots with us staring each other down. Even the CM that had my own camera got some good ones.

The meet and greet is in the Launch Bay. When you enter, head right, then just after Rey's speeder is a little podium where you check in. If you get to the Cantina, you've gone too far. This special Chase Meet and Greet is only for Vader. But for anyone else, there is a line for Vader and a line for Chewbacca. In December, both were averaging 45+ minutes. But the Chase line was only a few people. The longest I saw it was about 10 groups, just before it opened at 4. If you go after say 4:30, there generally is no line.

He did that with me too. I actually wasn't going to meet with him. Just wanted DGD and DD to get the chance. But I did :D

We did it the day after Christmas. It was crazy to me that the whole park was packed full and barely anyone was in Superhero HQ. We waited 10 minutes for Boba Fett, 5 for Chewie, and then they opened the Chase thing-- which is in a really weird, barely marked place, so ask a cast member. We waited maybe 5 minutes for that as well. I loved how each character was the real deal. The personalities, their voices/sounds were spot on. And the free 5x7 was a nice touch! Just make sure you have a credit card. They will check and were turning away anyone with a debit card.

They do not run it, but they copy some of the information down.

What part of the park is this located in? We are going for the first time in May. DH is a big Star Wars fan and it would make some cool scrapbooking pages.

It is located in the old Innovations building, which is now called Star Wars Launch Bay.

Do you have to have the Disney Chase visa with the Star Wars characters? We have the one with Mickey on it, is that one ok to use?
