On the WDW app, it says that there is a 330 minute wait for Space Mt. Is that really true? I just can’t even imagine :scared1:

That has to have been a glitch. It’s at about an hour now. I was reading off wait times to my kids two hours ago and TT was 3 hrs, Soarin was 2.5. I don’t think MS would have been 5.5 with those other times.

Not Mission Space, Space Mountain in the Magic Kingdom.

Might be slightly inflated but today is the busiest day of the year.

Figment at 60, Soarin at 220, haunted Mansion 120

Well, if someone considers spending 5.5 hours in line for Space Mountain worthwhile, then more power to them. Seems insane to me, but that's why I'm not there today.

I did DHS on NYE a couple years ago. We got there early, ride a few rides, scheduled iur FP+for the afternoon and waited till dark so we could see the Osborn lights, which were spectacular. We left really early though to avoid the mountains of people streaming in, and everyone was blowing those dang horns which drove me bonkers but I was glad I saw the lights in their final year.

I would never make it 330 minutes without the restroom. And it's not like that line is easy to slip out of for the restroom, either. Wow. I know it's obscenely crowded. But I do wonder if one side is down and 95% of capacity is going to FP.

We saved one of those noisemakers to remind us not to go back to DHS on New Years Eve ever again. Even if our team makes the Citrus Bowl.

I saved the noisemaker too and the NYE hat, but your right.... NEVER again!!!!!!!!!!

We love going at New Years, although we would never wait that long for anything.

I will say that some people do prefer to wait in a long line on a bonkers day like this because it is somewhat controlled as opposed to fighting the crowds outside. Friends of mine voluntarily stood in a 200+ minute line last year just because they were sick of fighting the outside crowds. They didn’t want to leave the park since they were staying late, but wanted a reprieve from the craziness so they got in line for Space. They said they felt very zen in the Space Mountain line :) I personally would not do it this way, but I’ve been there a few times at New Years and definitely understand wanting a little break in the park from the craziness!

FOP is only 180. I wonder if MK is letting more guests in.

MK and Epcot are typically the parks that people want to ring in the new year in. DAK is not a popular choice, so it makes sense that the lines are going to be shorter there than in MK today (as crazy as that is to believe!)

We had a 11:15am fast pass this morning and when we arrived, the ride was down. They said we could use the fp for any other ride except 7ds and Peter Pan. I guess it's back up and people are willing to wait. There must be a lot of backed up fps...
