Are you happy with her dr's. I was very sick for awhile. I had alot of female type problems, and infections. I had a biopsy which first said there were changes in the endometrial lining, My Dr. wanted to do an immediate hysterectomy. I am 38 and wanted another child. The only way she would ok not doing this right away was if I consulted with an Oncological obgyn. Instead of going with her recommendations I went to the University of Pa. obgyn oncology dept. They did a second test which showed early stage endometrial cancer. I was put on a course of meds, it took several tries to get the right doses and meds right. The goal was to get all of the inflamation down, stop all cycles so the endometrial lining could heal itself. Here it is, like nine months later, no hysterectomy. I feel worlds better. Before this I had been treated by several local dr's and had been sick so long. I cancelled several dis trips and my life was on hold. I still have to have close monitoring and frequent biopsies, but everything looks good. I know a hysterectomy would have been easier short term, but not long term. If she hasn't yet, I would suggest going to the obgyn dept of a good large teaching hospital and getting a second oppinion. Perhaps they could get to the root of the problem rather then just doing a surgery. Of course, this is if she can do this quickly before any infection comes back.
