Can anyone confirm whether this rumour is true ?
If so, will it be open to everyone or just Press/share/AP holders.

It looks like we are going to try and book a weekend in March, I was thinking of going for the St. Patrick's Day festival for the later opening hours and fireworks on the Saturday, but if there are going to be previews of the new parade, etc. then I'd prefer to wait a couple of weeks and book that weekend. :)

If anyone;s got any info. at all I'd be ever so grateful.:)

Haven't had anything through the shareholder club, but will post if I hear anything :)

I have not heard this rumour however it is worth bearing in mind for when you make your desicion when you book that the 31st is the first weekend of the easter holidays.

Thankyou it would be much appreciated, I got the info. from a french site but there seems to be much debate about whether it will happen, my absymal French translation informs me that most people think it will and that it will be a public preview with the press in attendance. However, as the park is opening an hour later and closing an hour earlier than normal for a Saturday there is a suggestion that there might perhaps be something especially for invitees after the park closes at 9.00 and even more interestingly that the WDS is open until 7.00pm that evening although that could just be due to the fact that it's also scheduled to open an hour later than normal for a Saturday :confused3

The date isn't ideal but it is my eldest son's birthday and whilst we've celebrated his birthday on previous visits, on both occasions we've been there at the time of mine or his brother's birthday, (we're all within a couple of weeks of each other) as it's his friend we're taking as a birthday treat I thought it would be nice if it was on his day and especially as it's the big 13, although he has been in training to be a teenager for the the past 12 months or so.;)

DLRP haven't confirmed any kind of preview event yet, but it seems to be generally agreed that Disney's Once Upon a Dream Parade will begin on the 31st. They day should be like a "soft opening" of the celebrations, with the first runs of several things.

Even if it *isnt* a proper preview day, then the whole thing only starts the day after anyway, 1st April, so it doesn't matter that much...

Edit: As for opening times, WDS will be opening until 7pm on many nights this year (woohoo!) and DLP closing early.... hmmm, they could do something. It annoys me that DLRP leaves it so late to announce things like this - it's hard to book a holiday that late for most of us.

Thanks for that info. :thumbsup2
I'm still unsure of when to go, we could be there on the 31st but would have to come home on the 1st, then anytime from 1st April onwards for the next 6 months at least is out of the question for me as my colleague is going on maternity leave.

What I really can't decide is whether the events will be spectacular enough to justify putting up with the :crowded:Saturday:crowded: crowds. :headache:
