30th Birthday celebrations.

Hello everyone

As we now have less than 2 months until our November trip to celebrate my wonderful DH turning 30, i am begining to allow myself some time to start planning properly

So, the most important thing i'm trying to decide is where to have DH's birthday meal on the Monday night, i have booked his cake, and had originally thought we would eat in Cafe Mickey.....until i read a post somewhere that said how they celebrate birthdays at The Steakhouse is wonderful. Has anyone experienced this? I'm hoping to get a rough idea so i can compare the two.

Ha! Ha!! Yes it's definitely planning time now that we are less than 2 months - funny how it kicks in isn't it?!!

We did go to Steakhouse for DH's birthday 3 years ago but didnt do cake or anything like that - would have been his idea of hell!! We did go with our friends though and certainly enjoyed the cocktails and he loved his food!

I've been with a grown up celebrating a birthday at Cafe Mickey and the kids LOVED it - not sure the birthday boy was as amused and I think Mickey though it was Isabelle's birthday!

Thanks Jenny, i'm pretty sure Steve would much rather we skipped the cake but the boys are so excited about doing it for Daddy! So a cake he will have, anyway, i'm sure the light from the candles will hide the red colouring that i'm sure will appear in his lovely face!

Just today the excitement seems to have really kicked in, my sister wrote an excited post on my FB wall which has helped! I feel that now the weather is begining to turn and the provisional ride closures are up i not at all too early to plan
