Day 1: Disney Studios

Mickey woke us at 7:00am and we ate a quick breakfast and went to bus stop (after a quick check of pin staion at resort , got the four 100th pins released that morning). Arrived at 8:15 and rented a locker for the video camera etc. Then waited for rope drop. Headed for the "hat" to get my interactive button. Then we watched the Indiana Jones show, this is one of our favorites. Then to Muppets 3-D (after a quick photo with Kermit himself!) we love this show too. Next we watched the Hunchback show, this is one of the best at Disney. Thought we would check out Millionaire show, I have to say we were disappointed with it, my husband thought it was a waste of time. We had a nice lunch at Backlot express (next to Indiana Jones), we always eat here, you can get a burger and fries and make a simple salad with the fixin's bar. Next was Backlot tour, they were putting the lights up for Osborne family display.
Time to get the video camera and wait for the new parade. It is the best parade they have had. We did the Movie ride (have to I love wizard of oz and hubby likes the"duke" and Indiana Jones. Watched Little Mermaid and Beauty and Beast and headed for Fantasmic. I could watch this over and over it is wonderful. Caught the bus back to Movies and hit the bed.

Day 3: Oct. 2nd

Epcot and Magic Kingdom

Mickey woke us at 7:00am again. Dressed and ate quick breakfast. Caught the bus to Epcot.
No need for the early entry, no crowds at all. Walked on Test track and then Ellen's energy ride. Checked out innovations and Shrunk the audience, another favorite we never miss.
Caught the monorail (got to ride up front with driver, that is so neat) to magic Kingdom. First stop was at city hall to get my Birthday button, had to swear that I would wear it all day and I told the CM iI was going to wear it all week! We arrived early for our Keys to Kingdom tour so we rode the train and grabbed a snack at Casey's corner and the CM said Happy Birthday and gave me a brownie! Back to city hall for the tour. The guide was Tatianna, she had a slight south american accent. Only 9 in the group. After several inside tidbits we went to the Utiladors. This is very interesting, you get to see costumes, makeup, hair (wig) styling and the parade floats. The entry was just a door that anyone can open. Came out in Fantasyland and rode Haunted mansion (entered thru another door with no wait). Next we took lunch at Harbour house (it was ok). Then rode Pirates with no wait. Thru all the rides my button was lighting up like crazy. End of our 5 hr. tour. It was fun.
Caught monorail back to Epcot and walked around world showcase and watched Illuminations. Another thing I could watch over and over. Bus back to movies and hit the bed.

Day 3: a day of rest and relaxation!!

Wednesday Oct. 3rd: we swam at the pool and rested in the room. In the evening we went to Boardwalk and it is so beautiful there. The Swan and Dolphin is so pretty close up.

Day 4:

Thursday Oct. 4th: Animal Kingdom and Epcot

Good moring Mickey!! Quick breakfast and we are off, this time we drive our car. Arrive at 8:00 and head for the safari. We ended up on the right side and saw nothing! Every animal was on the left side. Oh well. Next we go thru the trails and saw lots of gorilla's. Headed off to Dinosaur, it is still quiet a rough ride, but we like it. Next we go to Minnie and Mickey camp. I get my photo with Chip & Dale, Mickey, Rafiki, jungle book characters. We watched the Lion King show and Pocahanas. Seems like they have shortened the Lion king since we saw it last? Head for the Tarzan show, first time to see it, we liked it except it was so loud! We have pizza at pizzfari and then do tough to be a bug and watch the new parade. It is cute too. We would have left around 1, but we waited for the parade. there just is not enough to do for a whole day. Take car and head to Epcot. World showcase, watched the American adventure, it seemed to have a lot more meaning watching this time. Walked around and checked out the other countries and ate at Mexico then ended the day with Illuminations again.
I wore my birthday button and almost every CM wished me a happy birthday!!

Thanks for the report....Can you tell us more about those interactive buttons??...What rides do they light up for, what does it look like when they light up, etc?...They seem cool, but they are also pretty expensive for a button!...Just also wanted to say how much I also love Illuminations...I think I could see it literally every day and still be amazed...The music makes it extra special...Gets me everytime!!...
