$30 Gift Card With Package Question

Sorry if this is in the wrong area, but do you have to book a room stay and tickets on the same transaction?
We have done the room only discount when they were released, but was waiting for a bonus undercover tourist or similar e-ticket deal.
Our 60 day fast pass window is several days out and it seems the $30 per guest gift cards offer would be slightly cheaper than the UT deals.
Is it possible to add tickets to our vacation through Disney for the gift cards?

You can call Disney and ask them if you can change your reservation to the Gift of Magic offer which includes $30 gift cards with a purchase of 6 day or longer tickets. Our daughter had purchased a five day ticket package and when the $30 gift card offer was released she was able to switch her reservation to include 6 day tickets in order to get the $30 gift cards.

You would be changing your reservation from a room only to a package which means that your room only is cancelled and the reservation is changed to a package reservation. You would have to call them to do this.
