30% Discount on Rooms question

We are going in january 2013 and looking at the historical discounts it seems that our dates will fall during the usual free dining and also 30% Room Discount.....I know that in order to receive the free dining you have to do at least a 3 night stay and also a purchase of at least a 2 day ticket for each guest....

My question is this, when they run the 30% off the room for deluxe hotels for either visa card holders or general public....do I have to purchase park tickets in order to get the discount or can I just reserve the room for the 30% off without purchasing any tickets??

The room only discounts are just that - room only. You reserve the room only and then have the option to add on a package. You can get your tickets from Disney, AAA, Undercover Tourist or anywhere else you like to buy them.
