We are staying on site beginning June 12. We should be able to make FP+ selections on Apr 12th based on the My Disney Experience booklet we received. Weird thing is that when I log into my MDE account, it doesn't show us being able to book FP+ until May 12th which is 30 days out from our arrival.

I called WDW and they said that the window should definitely open up tomorrow as indicated. Just wondering if anyone has had this experience when they have looked ahead on the calendar to see when they can book FP+

I believe...could be wrong...but believe that once your 60 day window opens up you WILL be able to book the FP+ reservations. If you have tickets linked now...that would be why it shows May 12th (the default date for anyone with a valid park ticket). At least I think that is what others have reported lately...that once their actual 60 day date arrived they were able to make FP+ reservations.

I am doing a split stay this July 10th. The first 5 days are onsite and then the next 5 days are offsite. I assume once the 60 day window opens May 10th I should be able to book the FP+ For the 5 days onsite, but will it also let me book FP+ for the 5 offsite days that happen right after it or does it make me wait till June 15th (30 days from my offsite portion).

Thanks.

MDE gives you the 30 day window like it does for everybody until your 60 day window opens up. Remember your 60 day window is also a rolling window so you won't be able to do all your selections at 60 days. They open up day by day. At least that's what I've read, I'm waiting for the 17th. :thumbsup2

Gosh we are checking in onsite on June 12th as well but the date we got from disney to make fp reservations is April 13th!!! That is the 60 day mark on my my experience and on the magnet they sent us with important dates! Why Would u have a different day when we r checking in on the same? Hummmm

Not quite.
I was always given the 60 day window on MDE as well as the booklet Disney sends out. Also, the 60 day window is not rolling. You are able to book FP+ for the first 7 days of your trip at 60 days.

Remember, this whole FP+, MDE, and MyMagic+ system are still in testing phase so glitches, inaccuracies, conflicting info, etc can, will, and do happen. I would suggest logging on at your 60 days mark and try to schedule your FP+s. There's no harm in trying. Good luck! :)

It's not a rolling window, you can book for your entire stay 60 days before the day you arrive. I am doing a split stay and thought I would only be able to book one resort at a time, but I was able to book the entire week at once.

Things may have changed since last fall, but I was able to book for all my days at 60 days from check-in.

It hadn't changed when I booked my FP+ in February. Was able to do all 7 days beginning 60 days out. I don't know how it is for off siters at 30 days though.

May has 31 days, so 60 days for June 12 would be April 13.

Latest reports have been that you can book FP+ for the length of your onsite stay at the 60 day mark (May 11th for you). Then you should be able to book FP+ for your offsite portion stay at the 60 day mark for each day.

So for your example, you should be able to book FP+ for July 10-15 (onsite stay including checkout day) on May 11th. Then you should be able to book FP+ for July 16, 17, 18, etc. on May 17, 18, 19, etc., respectively. This assumes that you have tickets for the length of your stay. As always with FP+, this is subject to any future changes Disney decides to implement.

I'm the OP for this thread. As a quick update, I was able to book for our entire vacation at midnight on Apr 13th. My apologies for any confusion. I had put Apr 12th by mistake in my post. Before the 13th, the calendar of available dates to book FP+ was cut off at May 12th (30 days out). As someone else mentioned, the additional days were loaded at the 60 day mark as expected. I was able to book the entire vacation (9 days) at the same time even though we are splitting our vacation between two resorts.

On my MDE it says 30 days in one place and 60 in another.

I think this is confusing. I just linked my tickets yesterday to MDE and I am staying onsite. It says: "We see that you and 2 Guests on your Family & Friends list have tickets, and are ready to make FastPass+ selections up to 30 days in advance!"

I called and they said - I will be able to make my FP+ at the 60 day window.

Why can't they just get their system to say that?! Seems confusing and I bet they get a lot of calls on it or people miss 30 days of early selection!

You can't see them until your 60 day window actually opens. It's 60 if you have a Disney resort reservation and it's linked to your MDX account.
