 Five Days of Celebrating all The Fabulous Things In our Lives

So, I had planned on doing this on Thursday, the day that marks exactly one month until our trip and also my birthday….but, as I am currently off work and on crutches thanks to shoddy pavements on the school run  I thought I’d do it a few days early to cheer myself up….Our Pre Trip Report! !

So, the when…….Sunday 25th November 2012 for 4 nights, 5 days, until Thursday 29th November 2012.:wizard:

The how and where…. We will all be getting up bright and early (5am) and driving from Weymouth, to London St Pancras, completing our journey on the Eurostar, something new to all of us! We will be staying at The Cheyenne, we had booked The SL, but after much moaning and sulking from our boys recently changed to ‘the cowboy hotel with the high beds’! We were a little fed up doing it as we’ve stayed here twice and SL once, but the excited faces soon melted that away and our excitement returned:cool1:…..besides, we do love the Cheyenne and the great theming!

And next…..the who!......There will be 8 of us travelling this time, myself, my husband, my parents, my twin sisters and our gorgeous boys….here we all are….we call ourselves ‘The Bubble’, we’re all very very close and do most things as a unit

A little bit about us all…. My parents, Kim and Rod (or MOG if he’s in a grump…Miserable Old Git!) Although far from old, he can be rather grumpy! Rod is a taxi driver and a wonderful dad and 'gandan', despite his mood swings! He’s looking forward to some down time and doing the bigger rides with Steve. My mum Kim, my best friend. She’s a psychotherapist (and a very good one too), she’s the best mum and Mama, always puts us first and never complains. She has recently been diagnosed with Lupus Disease so I feel the need to love on her lots x She’s very excited to do Disney with her Grandchildren, she won’t do the bigger rides but will happily ride things such as The Flying Elephants! They will celebrate 25 years of marriage in May next year.

(my parents are the 2 either side of the bride, the lady in the middle is my beautiful other mummy)

Next onto my twin sisters, Tamsin and Jade, they are 19, Tamsin is studying at college and will be off to Uni next year to be a neonatal Nurse, she is a huge Stitch and Nemo fan :stitch:! Jade has just started Uni, she’s studying Law at Southbanks Uni in London. She LOVES the princess' princess:, she drinks from a Princess beaker, she has one at home and one at Uni (I know she’s too cool)

As you can see from the picture, they got the height, the looks and the skinny gene! This brings me onto me! (the round one in the middle) Jemma, 28, I work in a supermarket (booo), I will one day, when our boys are both at school get back to completing my degree! But for now, as much as it bores me, this works and gives us the funds to have our Disney trips!

And here we have my reasons for everything! My beautiful boys, E and H, 6 and 4 and truly wonderful!

They make my heart ache with love and my tummy and face hurt from laughing, they are so clever and kind, along with being just the right amount of crazy. and very excited to be returning to Disney! H is in love with Woody and Jessie, it will make the trip so special if we can meet them both! Evan loves Big Thunder Mountain and quite likes Buzz, although he’s going through a ‘I’m not ‘bovered’ about characters mummy’ phase. :rolleyes1

This brings me, last but not least, to the reason for this trip, my fantastic husband Steve! He was asked what he would like to do to celebrate his 30th Birthday, a weekend in Amsterdam? A week somewhere hot? No, 5 days in Disney. His reason, seeing the excitement and happiness on our boys (and mummys) face is the best birthday gift. So this wonderful man, who works his bum off for Royal Mail and builds websites in his spare time, will turn 30 on our first morning there! He loves every part of Disney, but especially the food and rides like Tower of Terror. I think i fell in love with him a little more when i realised his birthday fell right near Christmas....Disney trips at Christmas!!! :santa:

Wow, this is longer than I had expected!! :rotfl2:

Apologies! A quick run down of our meal plans etc. Steve, the boys, jade and I will be doing EMH every day of our trip, Tamsin isn’t sure she will be getting up that early everyday and my parents have said they will be meeting us in the parks at around 10 am. Except on Monday when Birthday boy calls the shots and wants everyone in the park by 8am!

Our plans for meals are,
Sunday night – Annettes.
Monday night – Café Mickey (cake booked!)
Tuesday night – Rainforest Café.
Wednesday – The Steakhouse.
And Thursday we will have an early dinner at Plaza Gardens before getting the Eurostar home.
We don’t have places planned for lunches, we will play that by ear as the week goes along.

We also plan on visiting DLH on Monday afternoon for Afternoon tea and Birthday Cocktails

The things we MUST do and see,

The entire Castle and the dragon, we’ve never really paid it much attention as we’ve always had a buggy but will be really exploring it this trip.

Big Thunder Mountain as many times as we possibly can!

Visiting Santa, of course!

Dreams…..seeing Dreams at least twice!

I am yet to sample a glowtini, this will be rectified by the end of this trip…..photographic proof will follow

For me at DLP around Christmas I love nothing more than wandering around, taking all the little extra bits in, or sitting on Main St with a hot chocolate watching the world pass by. Steve will no doubt spend hours clicking away taking pictures, since he got his new DSLR LAST Christmas he’s always playing with it, that said, he is becoming a very good photographer so I’m expecting him to catch some great pictures!

Ooooo! I nearly forgot….the snow on Main Street!

So, I think that’s it.
Thank you all for reading, I hope I didn’t bore you too much!

I look forward to sharing my TR with you when we return!

Much Love and Pixie Dust!

Yes I got slightly carried away, must have been the excitement at being able to upload pics without my husbands help lol

We may yes! We will look out for you pixiedust:

My ankle is on the mend thank you, my pride may take longer to heal :rotfl2:

So our trip is now only 4 sleeps away, I can't believe how quickly the time is passing! Tonight is my last shift at work for 12 days, I think then I'll really get into holiday mode! :cool1:
I've been very organised this time, almost everything is packed, with only the things we will need between now and then left. I'm collecting DH 30th gift tomorrow as it had to go in to be engraved, it's actually been hidden in my wardrobe for about 6 weeks lol. I've emailed the hotel and had a lovely reply saying they will try their best to give us the rooms and block at the Cheyenne we would like. :thumbsup2

Tomorrow both boys have school/pre school so I plan on having a long relaxing bath and a lazy day before a film night with DH once the boys are in bed. :goodvibes :lovestruc

Friday morning I'm having my nails done ready for our trip, then ill pop out and grab snacks for traveling, and last min essentials like pain killers, calpol etc. boys have their swimming lessons.

Saturday DH has work until around 2pm, I'll clean the house so we don't come home to a bomb site :rotfl2: Saturday afternoon DH and the boys are going out with MIL, I won't be going, around a month ago I had a horrible falling out with her and I'm not ready to be in the same room as her let alone play nice :offtopic: :furious:
It's DH birthday on the first morning of our trip and as MIL won't be coming this is his birthday celebration with her.

Hopefully we'll get an early night on Saturday for our 4am alarm, although every time we go to Disneyland DH and I say we need to have an early night but end up being awake in bed until the early hours too excited for sleep :rotfl2:
We're really grown up us :thumbsup2 :worship:

Oh dear In laws :/

Hope DH likes his gift.

I'm the same I don't sleep before we go away I don't sleep well in hotels either so always sleep well when we get home lol!

Yes most definitely since I became a mummy too. Yet the daddies don't seem to worry lol.
