Hi Everyone. With only three weeks to go, we are now thinking of the oddest questions to ask!!

Our DS is 3 and although he is completely out of nappies at all times, when he needs to go, he needs to go.:scared:

Are there plenty of places we can pop into just to use the toilet or would we be advised to take a travel potty in our bag?

Unusual question I know, but essential for us to be prepared.

Thanks

There are toilets all over the resort and they're all marked on the Park maps, I'd say familiarise yourself with them so you know where the nearest is. Even now and my kids are nearly 14 and 9 I ask if anyone needs the loo when we're passing. The only time we had a problem was in a long queue and my niece who was 3 at the time had an accident, if you feel happier take the potty, I've never see any potties or seats to pop on the fullsize loo at DLRP so if little ones a bit unsure on big one it's probably a good idea and don't be too surprised to see some Europeans whipping they're little ones things off and letting them pee in the flower beds, or guys in the ladies, although both surprised me the first time.

Thank you for that info. We will get ourselves a map on arrival and take a note of where the toilets are. I think I might pop one of the small travel pottys into our bag anyway just to be on the safe side. Thanks again.:flower3:

when we went last we took the travel potty for our then two year old, no problem carrrying it if you have the buggy anyway (which I would recommend if your LO is 3 still), we will probably take it again this year although she is nows 4, as they always want to go when u are next in queue for a ride, or the furthest place you could be from the toilets. We always made her go when we were near toilets, after each meal & drink. to save using the expensive potty liners as much as poss.

lol that reminds me when i went France when i was rather young, some mum was letting her child do a poo on the pavement for everyone to see, lol my mum covered my face.

anyway...whats the baby changing facilities like, my DD is still in nappies so no doubt will be taking a few trips to these to get her bum changed.

wooo 4 days to do :)

I had to change my DD last year and i changed her in the baby changing place at the beginning of main sreet. the staff were very helpful and friendly and facilities nice and clean, i had run out of wetwipes and had to buy a packet from there, and they had this really sweet floral scent, kinda like the parade floats smell lol!
DD is out of nappies now thank God, so toilet breaks are a must as she tends to really hold it when she's having fun!

As others have stated there are plenty of toilets. When DD was little we had a folding toilet seat which we got from PHP. It fitted into a bag and gave DD the confidence on a large toilet.
Extra benefit was it meant that DD always sat on a clean toilet :)

something to bear in mind - it does seem as though the changing facilities are mostly in the ladies' loos.
facilities for men are available in lucky nugget and in the nestle baby room near plaza gardens.
unless my dh is having me on!!
there are loads of toilets all over the place - people don't seem to notice some so you get used to knowing which tend to be quieter.
