Hi guys,
Hope everyone had a good crimbo !!
After our failed attempt at a quick trip earlier this month we are toying with the idea of doing 3 weeks instead of 2 his November.
We are booked for 26th Nov till 11 th Dec. Thanksgiving is the 2th so is it a crazy idea to add this week but then 12-19th dec is surely going to be getting mental crowd wise as well????
Also we obviously know the villa and car hire will increase by 1 week but what else do we ned to factor in ???

Thanks guys
Louise x

All i can think of extra will be food and spends! do you get annual insurance? usually works out cheaper.
we usually go for around 17 days, but went for 23 days a couple of yrs ago!
hoping to repeat this in 2011, not going next yr as we have to gut the bathroom!

We have been in December and it didn't get busy until about the 20th so I wouldn't worry that that week would be mental, I say go for it! :thumbsup2

I agree with Jen and would expect the first 2 weeks to be relatively quiet.

You will probably have to just cater for villa, car hire, spending money and park tickets overall cost being slightly more.

It is common for many to go for more than a fortnight these days and with the flight price not affected it can work out good value for money.
We have done 3 week holidays, 19 nights, 17 nights - all sort of variations, next years is 16.

we always tried to go for at least 3 weeks..
the cost of the flight is so high, it just seemed too costly to us to spend that much money for the 4 of us to fly for only 2 weeks.....

We always try and go for 3 weeks if we can, as we don't find that the extra week costs a lot more.

The only thing is your extra spending money! :thumbsup2

I think 3 weeks is ideal - you can do a lot more - or have a few more rest days. The 3 weeks Disney pass is not that much more than the 2 week pass - although I would weigh up the benefits of buying 1 AP to save on the parking fees.

I also agree with others, that adding the 12th-19th wouldn't be so bad - crowd level wise. we were there last year and until the 21st or 22nd - it wasn't bad at all.:)

Hi. We are going for 3 weeks next year and the cost wasn't too much more than 2 weeks. It was obviosuly accomodation, car hire and insurance. We upgraded to 3 week disney passes and I think they only cost about another £20. Happy Planning x

I never find three weeks much more expensive and its also nice to have a few chill days too. Three weeks gives more shopping time too which is always a bonus, maybe not on the purse strings though:lmao:

Not sure if I could do 2 weeks anymore but I only go every 3 years or so as spend alot of my time travelling between UK and Middle East.
