3 Things We’d Been Missing at the Magic Kingdom...Until Now

When we were at Pinnochio Village Haus last June I don't recall seeing those on the menu! I feel like I've really missed out as they sound absolutely delicious. We'll have to make a point to try them when we go next month.

Loved the article! Particularly the part about Tom Sawyer's Island. We've skipped it on our last few trips, but now I think we'll make a point to go back. :goodvibes

My whole family is planning to move to the Orlando area within two years and we have family that have given us the "Aren't you going to get tired of it?" question. Of course not!! It's always growing and changing and by the time we saw everything (as if that's possible) something would be changing and we'd have something new to see!! Plus, there are the classics that you want to see all the time!!

Also, my mom is looking forward to going on a "slow" day and just riding Toy Story Mania as many times as we can fit it in!! lol It'll be things like that that you would never do on just a 7 day vacation! Counting down the days!!

We are commandos but always do Tom Sawyer. It was one of my favorites as a kid, and DS loves it too. I like to sit in a rocker on Aunt Sally's porch and wave at the riverboats going by. I wish the QS there was still open and served lemonade. It's a good place to watch the parade without the crowds. The one at DLR is just as cool. We do have to set a time limit though, or we end up spending hours there.

We're commandos too! We a spending a week at the beach for spring break but have decided to drive over for a day at the MK. We have decided to do a laid back day. We have a handful of rides plus our FP+ rides that we will do but other than that we are just going to meander and take in the sites. Tom Sawyer is on our list as well as Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom. Fingers crossed - it will be a test to see if I can stick to that and not come up with a strict, minute by minute touring plan for the day!
