While cleaning out the garage this weekend, DH found 3 snake skins, all the same size, in various places around our garage. He does not like snakes at all! He had me look at them. He continued to clean and came across snake #1. YELLED at me to come check it out while he kept his eye on it ( from a safe distance, of course
) and I could tell it was a young copperhead snake.
I caught it in a bucket and took it off to the pasture behind our house, then DH found #2! let me tell you he freaked! Same size as #1. Now do we assume there is #3 still somewere in our garage? and can we assume they have all been there for awhile? We feel that if #3 shows up or 1 or 2 return, we will dispatch them to snake heaven as a warning to the rest.
I like snakes, had a few green grass and garter snakes as pets as a child. But when we keep coming across these poisonous ones, it makes even me nervous!
