3 sites with 3 different sets of hours for May trip

Can anyone tell me where to find the most accurate park hours? I just checked here on the dis, touring plans, as well as the official disney site and am getting varying times..

Some say 8 am open at MK, others say 9am, some say 9:30 close at dhs others say 8:30, one nite a 7pm close at ak??instead of 9 or 9:30..

I am going May 6th to 13th. I feel like I am crazy. I had hoped to see some longer hours especially at MK but sadly, no. We go early May every yr and love pool days and park nights.

The park hours for April weren't finalized and extended until March 18th so I would say you have a while yet before the hours are definitive. I will say that when they extended hours in April, they left the last week untouched, which may be an indication of their plans for early May.

We'll also be there those exact same dates! I've been monitoring it and I think we have a shot at some increases. I'm not sure if you noticed, but MK on May 6th is up to 11pm so I'm hoping that indicates later hours will be announced for the rest of the trip later on.

Disney's website. For the last year, they update around the 15-17th of the month before so you have a couple more weeks to find out what they are. The other sites and why they differ is they are referencing other disney materials like the travel agent calendar which is closer to what the times will be but when the website changes around middle of the month before, then you know what's closest.

with that said, disney will keep changing hours including the same day if they need to.. rarer in the last year than previous times but not unheard of.

I am hoping they extend a few hours but not really counting on it. I am just at a loss to explain such varied close times with only 5 weeks to go on these sites. It is not a huge deal. I am just starting to look at adrs now and FP's!

I really need Sunday the 7th to be open until at least 10. Fingers crossed.
I looked at a few years of historical data on closing times for our dates and on one year that Sunday they were even open until midnight.

So we have two weeks from today. That's not bad. I have everything planned just waiting on closing times to figure out if we can ride a couple rides at night.

As it currently stands:

Magic Kingdom hours are updated and likely the final version until May 6
Animal Kingdom hours are updated and likely the final version until July 4. They are actually probably the planned full hours until Labour Day but there might be extensions if Pandora turns enough sales
Epcot hours are updated until and the final version until the end of the year with the exception of 10pm closings for Friday and Saturday during F&W. Since the festival is starting very early this year no one is sure when Disney will add those two hours. I would anticipate them added for Labour Day Weekend, skip two weeks and then until the end of the festival.
DHS hours are updated until May 31. There might be a half hour extension here and there but they have already gone through an extension and I do not think Disney has plans to extend them further. The only caveat is that this is the first summer without evening EMH at the Studios. So we might see an 11pm closing. Especially during Memorial Day Weekend.

I am not really looking for the newest updates of hours, though I appreciate the info. I am just trying to figure out which one is the most accurate to go on.
For example, HS is listed as hours to 8:30 pm on 1 site and 9:30 on another. AK shows 9 closing on 1, 9:30 on another.

I guess I will go with Disney's for now but I am still not sure if it the most correct.

The official site is already showing 10:00pm closings for Fridays and Saturdays in September and has for a week or so.

I would use this and check it often. It shows the last updated date at the bottom of each page.

Hmm I had assumed AK would be open until at least 9:30 or 10 in early May, not until 9 as it currently shows. The weeks prior have later closing times, and with sunset only around 8 I would imagine those times would increase?

It was a disaster last year without major draws in AK opening late. AK until 9 is probably sound right now considering the AK hours were updated the week prior to Pandora and have been modified extensive from Memorial Day Weekend until Labour Day Weekend. Rivers of Light is scheduled for 9:15 until Pandora Day.

I only use MDE for park hours.
