Hi,
I am debating whether to celebrate DD 3 or 4th birthday with a trip to WDW.
With DS we went at 2.5 and 4, and the 2.5 trip was noticeably better because at 4 he had tantrums about waiting and wanted to ride things over and over but couldn't, while at 2.5 he just went along

We want to rent DVC, so we need to book at 11 months
what would you do?
If your kid turn 3 on the trip, does he still get in free?

thanks!

I think if they are 2 when the trip starts, they still get in free. So that would be my vote! :)

I've brought kids at pretty much every age and there are challenges and positives with each age.

That's so funny, I was just telling someone that on our last trip, the best-behaved of my three kids was the 2.5 year old! She had no expectations and just loved everything, big or small. So I could definitely see taking her at the turning-three age. Plus, then your next trip can be that much sooner!

Can they do BBB at 3? Is 3 too young to do it? Because I cannot wait to take her, I am tired of doing boy stuff at Disney (I guess I am just projecting my own little girl wishes on DD)

I believe 3yo is the minimum for BBB. I would either go when the she is 2.99 so she is free, or wait until older, and thus taller and able to ride more rides.

Lol at 2.99! That is exactly when we went with DD1 and we had a great time!! We had a couple of overstimulated/overtired episodes but all in all it was great, and we saved a lot of money on the buffets and park tickets. As she's gotten older she's enjoyed WDW even more, but 2.99 is certainly not "too young" to take her. Btw, DD1 is now over 5 and still hasn't done BBB - you can always wait on That until she's a little older.

I agree with going right before they turn three. They will have a great time and the savings is huge!
