3 or 4 people for ADR?

My 180 day mark is Monday. I'm traveling along with two of my kids. My son's girlfriend might come, but doesn't know for sure yet. She graduates college in the spring and hopes to have a job by the time we go in the summer. So if she finds a job, she probably won't come with us. I'm not sure if I should include her in the ADRs and cancel her later if she can't come, or make the ADRs for 3 and try to add her later. Or do I make them for 3, and if she comes just show up with her? Will they seat us with one extra person? I'm worried if we have to cancel her later that we will have to make new ADRs for 3 and nothing will be available. We have about 6 restaurants on our list that charge the cancellation fee. Any advice?

Make it for 4 and then if it changes just call with your confirmation #s and ask to decrease the number of people dining with you.
