We did our first cruise in August 2003 (Magic Western). Now we've booked a 3 night/land sea package for June 2005. We're very excited because we got connecting secret porthole rooms.

My questions are:

Is there a formal night on the 3 night cruise?

Is Palo available on the 3 night cruise?

Do they do shows on the 3 night cruise?

Thanks for any info.

I'll state the obvious. 7 nights > 3 nights. And the 7 night is aboard the Magic, the 3 night aboard the Wonder. :teeth:

Here are things I think the 7 night has that the 3 night does not have: semi-formal and formal night, Palo brunch and tea, and character breakfast.

Shows and Palo dinner are available on the 3 night.

one thing that you don't get is a character breakfast on the 3 day. At least i don't remember getting this on the three day.

Here are the answers you are looking for.

1. No real formal nite. You do have one dinner on the rotation at Triton's. They ask that you wear shirt and tie, no jacket needed for men and a nice dress or pants suit for women.

2. Palo is available for all three nites. We did not make a reservation at Palo during our first 3 day cruise because we wanted to try the regular dinning rooms first. To our surprise we recieved a call from Palo in our cabin asking if we wanted a 9:30 pm reservation that nite. We decided that 9:30 might be a little late and that we want to go to the deck party that nite so we declined. Jackets and nice dresses are required at Palo's.

3. They have shows every nite. It plays twice a nite at 6:30 and 8 pm. They have 3 different shows, one each nite. If you have a late seating for dinner you go to the early show, if you have a early seating you go to the later show. I think they did have an afternoon performance for one show. We did that one, that gave us the opportunity to get in a movie before dinner.

4. Don't forget to have fun!
