3 Movies Everyone Should Watch

Schindler's List
Godfather

And I can't narrow down my 3rd pick. It's a tie between Jaws, Star Wars, Top Gun, and 12 Angry Men.

Casablanca
Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
Dr. Strangelove or How I Stopped Worrying and Learned to Love the Bomb

Schindler's List
Godfather

And I can't narrow down my 3rd pick. It's a tie between Jaws, Star Wars, Top Gun, and 12 Angry Men.

I'm so glad someone said 12 Angry Men! One of my favorites! TCM runs it a lot, and if I catch it on, I tend to sit there and watch it. You know, I think I will make that my #3. My first 2 were easy:

The Wizard of Oz
The Princess Bride
12 Angry Men

So happy to see someone else recommend "What Dreams May Come." I loved that movie.
I'd also recommend "The Full Monty" (funniest movie I've ever seen).
Probably for my third I need to say "Star Wars." Just so my sons will continue speaking to me.

If I wanted to show three movies that 'well represented' what a movie was all about...I would choose:

Battles & wars: Braveheart

Animal adventure: Fly Away Home ( I know, I know...not a classic film...but the story...the music, the way I felt at the end...)

Love Story: Return to Me

Drama: Fried Green Tomatoes I know this is four but those are my favs.

Braveheart is a great MOVIE, but the historical inaccuracies are soooooo dreadful, it's hard for me to give it a "must see" rating :)
