I'm not sure I'm following -does your husband really decide how you spend your free time? (If so, do you get to decide how he spends his free time?) Or am I misunderstanding? Well, good luck, either way. And happy trip! :)

Maybe YOU should require a 3-month "cooling off" period after Disney! :rotfl:

See how long he lasts without cuddle time -- you'll be back on the boards sharing your trip report in no time ;)

Tell him that the DIS time is purely theraputic. He should be concerned about your health and well being... :goodvibes

I think I'd probably laugh for about an hour if my SO thought to dictate to me what websites I visit and what I do with my leisure time! :rotfl:

Is he saying you can't DIS or does he just not want to hear about it? I know my DH gets tired of me rambling about Disney stuff or some things I read here.
I hope its not that he's telling you you can't DIS because that's nuts. If my DH told me where I can and cannot surf I would have some not so nice words for him.

lol well since I'm taking 2 trips to the WORLD this fall i don't have time for a cooling off period...but then again I don't have a hubby too...maybe that is a good thang hahahahaha cooling off indeed! :rotfl2: :furious: :surfweb: :sulley: :goofy: :maleficen :hmghost: :mickeyjum :tink: :ccat:

I can understand him not wanting to hear about another trip in the planning for 3 months....I have gone through that myself. That is so hard to do!

Hope he isn't dictating what you do with your free time, hopefully we are all misreading that.

:goodvibes

you can reason with him that you have to tell everyone how your trip went, and how people need your invaluable advice!

That is such a good idea!!!! Me with NO Dis is like the wicked witch of the west with water!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

OK I so did not see that response coming!!!! DH and I have been married for 8 years and have no children, yet. This equals more free time. We have a great marriage and I consider myself very lucky. He is fabulous and would never consider dictating what I could/ could not or what I should/should not do with my free time unless it affected my safety.

That being said we have already been to Disney once this year and we are going back in December for our first ever Christmas trip. :cool1: I discovered these boards in Jan 06 and I have been addicted ever since. He loved it that we were able to cover so much ground in April and is glad I have learned so much on these threads. BUT he is tired of competing with the Dis for my time!!!! :surfweb: LOL. He is completely into anything technology related, including gaming. He works with computers for a living and the last thing he wants to do when he gets home from work, which I might add is a hour and a half from home, is watch me reading in the Dis.

He tells me he is secretly planning our next vacation to keep me from taking him back to Disney again early net year. He enjoys Disney, but not as much as me. The December trip was actually his idea, so give him a little credit.

Anyway I am sorry I have disturbed any of you with my thread. I do think the response I got is rather interesting though… :stir: but not in anyway planned.

I can understand a dh being worried when you spend too time on a forum! They can be VERY addicting and it's great to have a break once in awhile! Pop in when you get the chance!!
