When we travel in March, we are flying and taking a limo to resort. We will rely on Disney transportation while there, and take limo back to airport to depart.

I will have a 6 y.o., 4 y.o. and 10 month old.

I will bring 10 month old's car seat. What about the 6 and 4 y.o. (who are both big for the age)?? They technically don't need boosters any longer, but still use them at home.

But would you lug both boosters with you for just the drive to and from the airport???

Check the laws in Florida. I know here in TN children must be in a booster until 8yrs old or 5 feet tall. Perhaps the limo company rents them?? Or you could just bring two small seat-only boosters (not the high-backed kind) if you will need them and can't find somewhere to rent them. Good luck!

I read somewhere that the Florida car seat laws say that after 3 kids don't need to be in them. I was going throught the same thing you are. I have a 7yo, 5yo and 16 month old. Here in Pa kids must be in a seat until they are 8 and I wasn't looking forward to carrying 3 different car seats with us on our trip. After reading about the laws I will only be bringing my little one's seat.
I will try to find the thread and post it here.

Another otion you may want to consider instead of lugging heavy carseatsi s purchasing the Safety 1st Tote N Go DX Portable Car seat. We just recently got back from Disney, and this was an option we were looking into. (we decided to take our carseat because the item was back ordered). They run about $30, and can actually fit in a diaper bag. You may want to check into this. Also, the limo company's usually have seats for the asking. Check with yours.
Good luck! Have a great time!!!

if you use them at home, then I would use them on vacation - the car and the roads are just as dangerous.

we will be taking 2 - the 6 year olds booster and the babys full size huge heavy carseat - I just couldn't live with myself if we didn't take them and anything happened
