3 for 3 on waitlists

We have been members since April, and have two trips planned already: 5 days at the end of August, 10 days in early November. We had two waitlists at BCV for our November trip, it took about 8 weeks but they came through a few weeks back. Now today I find out that the waitlist I just set up for our August trip at BWV came through. All were for 1 night, but we are essentially 3 for 3 with waitlists at this point so we are really happy. If anybody is waiting on some good news of your own, be patient--waitlists do come through!

Always nice to hear good news. So happy for you. None of our WLs have ever come through. We are now on the WL for BWVs & BCVs for the last week of Oct. (studio) and being that it is during F&WF I don't have much hope but I never say never! Hope you have "magical" trips.

That's excellent that you've had so much waitlist success. We are batting exactly 0 for 5 on waitlists. I'm always encouraged by others' success with waitlists but haven't seen it yet ourselves. On the other hand, we don't call checking up on them either.

It's good to post stories like this to keep us all hopeful for the future.

Don't give up! My waitlist came through for 4 nights during Christmas week. For VWL! Now I'm on a waitlist for New Years Eve for VWL. Keeping my fingers crossed. It happened once, hopefully it will happen again.

Thanks for posting your good news. We just wait listed for a 1-bedroom Blt lake view for Jan. 8th. This gives me hope that it will come through!

I have to add one thing, I called a lot. My original reservation in November at BCV was for 2 nights, but I wanted 6. I had a 4 night waitlist. I called frequently, and ended up getting two more individual nights. I booked those, and kept changing the waitlist. I ended up with two individual nights (our first and last), and those came through (somewhat amazed that they came through at the same time).

Absolutely. As I said above, our original 4 day waitlist didn't come through, it took lots of calling and modifying. The one that just came through for late August took only 48 hours, and again was only for one night.

Congratulations on your wait lists coming through!!! I know you really wanted to be in that area and am glad you will get to experience both Epcot resorts.

We leave in 31 days for a few nights at BWV and then a few more at BLT--can't wait!!!

I had to reschedule my Oct trip at BWV today, so someone got lucky I would guess.......


I rebooked for March at BCV, my home resort, but I hope to switch to BLT next month once the 7 month window opens).
