I do not think I can wait 3 more days. Yes I have been axious, yes I drove everyone within reach of me crazy, but now that's it's 3 days till we leave I think I'm gonna explode :bitelip: with anxiety.....You just don't understand how this trip is has consumed my life. It's all I've thought about since we got back last year, but the last 3 months have been over the top. My dad told me the other day why don't you e-mail Disney have them fax you an application for employment and set up and interview while your there so you can just stay there permantely :rotfl2: !!! I'll have him to know I love him very much but this is a trip to Disney. Why dosen't everyone around me appreciate the magical, wonderful time that awaits. Are they crazy......They say that I am but after reading postings from other Diser's I don't think I am alone or crazy.....My dad also told my daughter to take our cell phones so she could dial 911 when we see Mickey and pass out.....Oh and I've also been told I'll probably be like a little puppy who see's someone new and gets exicited and pees everywhere. Okay that comment may have just cost them their annual Mickey ears with there name on them. I haven't decided yet...At this point I'm thinking they don't deserve anything from my beloved Disney.... :woohoo: See you must understand I grew up in a family who even tho they loved me very much they were never involved. They never did anything with me. My parents thought you had asked them to roll in chicken grease and jump into a swamp filled with crocodiles if you wanted to do something with them. My grandparents always did PTA, came to my ball games, and took me to Girl Scout meetings. I grew up about 80 miles from Dollywood and the only time we ever went is when my other grandfather came in out of town and made my mom and dad. You see until my husband and I got married 15 yrs.ago I never got to really do any major family stuff so when my husband starting taking us to Disney I guess all the pent up childhood excitement found it's way to the surface. My husband and I make it a point to get my daughter involved in as many activites as she enjoys and to support her in them and I always will. But I love Disney and I will always go insane when I know there is even the most slight possiblility that we are going, So they can make fun of me all I want because in Disney I can get in my own little world and leave them behind being miserable.......Let's go :moped: hurry 3 days :hourglass :rolleyes1 DISNEY DISNEY DISNEY!!!!!!!!

Just take it one minute at a time. Sleeping is out, I know. How about watching disney movies. :happytv:
Or cooking. :stir:
Anything that can take up time.

I totally feel for you! My parents were pretty involved when we were little but they became "distant" as I entered my tweens becuase they were going through some problems. They divorced when I was 15 and all the family beach trips, mountain trips, WDW trips (we lived two hrs away) just stopped. My 15 yo son was 7 before his first visit to the World because I just didn't have the money back then. Now that I am remarried, well settled and have three more youngsters, my dh hasn't had much interest in going to WDW or anywhere else for that matter. Not yet anyway- he always says he wants to go places but never wants to make the comittment. And as if that isn't bad enough, neither does my Mom, my Dad, my sister - none of them are ever interested in planning vacations with me. :confused3 I don't think it's me....i do bathe :rotfl: and I really am a fun person! Anyway, that said, I just started another thread about my dh finally starting to come around for our next Disney trip (still more than a year away :sad2: ) but I love reading stories like yours. I'd say I'm jealous but I feel to excited for you to be jealous. Your excitement is contagious to me and I hope you have a BLAST!!! pixiedust:
