We are going for a short trip in November. We will being going to Magic Kingdom, Disney Studios and Universal.

We will be staying at the Hilton in DD and will probably eat breakfast at the hotel.

Since we will only be there 3 days we will be staying all day in the parks and wanting to eat lunch and dinner at sit down restaurants.

The last time we were at WDW was in November 2000. I would like opinions on sit downs for these three parks.

Thanks.:D

Well, I would definitely vote for 50's Prime Time Cafe in Disney Studios; it is our favorite because of the "show". In Epcot, we enjoyed Coral Reef (but you may want to check out a country and I think that would be depending on your preference of food and entertainment) and in MK, we enjoyed the buffet at Crystal Palace.

I'm sure you'll get lots of other suggestions.

In the Magic Kingdom, we normally just grab a counter service meal at Columbia Harbour House or Pecos Bill's unless we have breakfast at the Crystal Palace. In MGM, we eat at Hollywood & Vine if we want dinner but it's a problem for us otherwise. We tried the SciFi during our last trip and it was fun even if the food wasn't so great.

As for Universal, are you going to Universal Park, IOA or both? I think that I would walk over to Citywalk and have a nice lunch at Margaritaville. Your time is limited so you'll have to tour quickly but a nice break is refreshing. Also, Margaritaville didn't ever seem to be crowded during lunch time.

If you want to eat in a park restaurant, Confisco or Mythos in IOA and Lombard's Landing in Universal park seem to be the most recommended. For a quick counter-service meal, we really enjoyed the Enchanted Oak Tavern in IOA.

Thank you for your responses. DH and I have never been to Universal before so I am going to have to go to that board. You gave me a start though Planogirl!:D

We have decided on CRT (if I can get the ressie) for breakfast and Liberty Tree Tavern for Dinner at MK. We will probably just do counter food for lunch.

If we do not get the ressie for breakfast I was hoping for another suggestion on a character breakfast before heading to MK.

At the Studios we decided on Sci-Fi for Lunch and 50's Prime Time for dinner. We want to see Fantasmic so we are thinking of doing a package dinner deal. Any suggestions or a push to a thread about this?

Thanks in advance.:D

I liked Tony's at the Magic Kingdom, although its location at the front door isn't convenient unless you're taking a meal on the way in or out of the park. While waiting in line last year, we were amused by the Mayor and CMs. It was quiet and had excellent Italian food. My husband loves the Liberty Tree Tavern, but I've heard their dinners aren't so good since they added the characters. I'd love to eat at the Castle, but I've heard the tables only seat 4, and we have 5 in our family.

At MGM, I've tried the Sci Fi, Mamma Melrose, and 50's Prime Time. The food was best at Mamma's. I think the kids would like the atmosphere at Sci Fi the best.

Enjoy!

We love the Crystal Palace Character Buffet for Breakfast, even better than CRT, but if you can get PS at the Castle, go for it.

We always eat at 50's Primetime Cafe when visiting MGM. We also like Crystal Palace at MK. At Universals, you have more options being that City Walk is right there. It may be a good break to leave the park just for a bite to eat and then just return to Universals when your done. City Walk has Margaritaville and Latin Quarters which we really enjoy! Good luck with your decision!
