I walked the 3 day in Atlanta in October, in memory of my mom. Raising the $1500 entry fee was not difficult; I sent out a letter to anyone and everyone I could think of, and people were glad to give. This year, I'm going to participate as a "crew" worker, rather than a walker. I'm still waiting for my 2 big toenails to grow back......

I walked the 3-Day in Seattle last year. Had to raise $2100. It was awesome! Throughout the entire weekend I was in awe of all the people (men and women) who were survivors. I was passed at one point by a woman that had 7 time survivor written on the back of her shirt. I can't do it this summer but I will definitely do it again.

Yup...I have to walk 60 miles AND raise $2200. I figured that since I've done it before I can do it again. The DIS community helped me the last time and I hope they will be just as generous this time.

Been there, done that, proudly wear the tshirt! Fundraising was not a problem at all. I don't know anyone who hasn't been touched by breast cancer in some way, and people were very generous. They figured if I could walk that far, they could write a check!
