Hi,

We need 5-day hoppers. The military base nearby has military 3-day hoppers for adults for $125 each. How can I figure out the cost to upgrade at Disneyland to 5-day hoppers, or if the Disney promo 5-day hopper for $260 is a better deal? :confused3

Thanks for the help. :goodvibes

The cost will be:
Price of the 5-day PH minus what you already paid.

Thank you Dreams. So there's really never a benefit to getting a deal on a ticket that is for fewer days than you want?

Hi neighbor! I don't know which base near Seattle you're at but the NBK ITT has 5 day adult hoppers for $217. Joint base Lewis Mcchord has 5 day hoppers for $206.

Wow, no way! I was just looking at the Navy MWR online ticket. OK, well we're doing that then!! We're closest to JBLM. Thank you thank you thank you!

They have a price list on their website, the $125 ticket is listed at the top but if you scroll down you'll see all their ticket prices.:)

On Fort Lewis' website, it indicates the expiration date is end of 2012 - am I looking at the correct site?

Oh you're right. I see it expires before we go. I'll give them a call tomorrow to see if there will be another deal when this one ends. Good catch JanetRose.

Heres the site I was looking at...

Yes, I see it does say that first use has to be before the end of the year. I don't see that on the Navy Region Northwest MWR pricelist for Kitsap, Everett, or Whidbey. I would call your local base MWR. They're not promotional tickets, they sell them yearound. You may have to wait to purchase until after the first? Definately call.

Thanks Interstate. :thumbsup2 I filled out my email for them and they emailed me a price list that doesn't show any expiration date. It's headed Bremerton, Everett, and Whidbey November 5 and includes phone numbers. It lists 217 for 5 day hoppers. I'll call tomorrow to make sure. So excited!!!

I almost learned the hard way; I drove up to Fort Riley about a month ago, mentioned when I was going to visit Disneyland (January 2013) and purchased the passes.

When I got out to my car and decided to look at them, I saw the expiration date of December 2012. Went back in and got a refund. Would have not been good if I had discovered the mistake while at Disneyland.

Anyway, I'm waiting to go back and buy the passes sometime right before my trip so I don't waste my time again.

No, and especially not with military discounted tickets. Those have an upgrade value that is actually less than what you pay for them, and since Disneyland's policy is to upgrade from what you paid, you can end up paying more than gate value when upgrading.

What she said, :)

Another thing to consdier.... if 3 days military tickets are $125 each, and 5 day are $260, you would be better off to buy two 3 day tickets per person. YOu'd get an extra day for $10 less per person.

You can't use the salute tickets back2back in any one seven day period.
