Hi everyone!
I am a first time poster and so happy to have found this board.
I am heading to DL the last week of August with my husband, 6 yr old son and 2 yr old daughter. I have been to DL many times, but this will be our first family trip.
We arrive in Anaheim the afternoon of Mon. Aug. 27 and head home the morning of Sat. Sept. 1.
We have 3-day park hoppers and I am having trouble deciding which three days to go to DL. The original plan was to go to the park Tues, Wed and Thurs and then have a low key non-park Friday before heading home on Sat. morning. Now I am second guessing that plan thinking that the kids might be sad on Fri. if the Disney experience is over and we still have a day of vacation left. Is it better to have a big first day (Tues.) and then have a recharge day (Wed.) and head back to the parks Thurs and Fri? Or go Tues. and Wed. with a quiet day on Thurs and go back on Fri. The day that we don't go to Disney will be low-key with nothing overly ambitious planned.
What would you do? Any opinions as to the best strategy would be appreciated.
Thank you!
