Hi all,I wondered if anyone could help me with this. I just got given 4 complimentary 3-day park hoppers from Disney Guest Relations...Wow! I am the only person that can collect them, with photo ID, and they all have to be used for the first time on the day of collection. Here's my problem, in the 2 year window I have been given to use them, it is most likely that my Mum and I will be the only ones who can make it back to the States, so we would have 2 tickets each. Can anyone tell me if it would work for the two of us to enter each park on a separate ticket on the first day, (thus losing a day on the second ticket), but then having 13 days to use up the remaining 4 days?
Thanks for your help!

Example Arrive and pick up two tickets on Friday June 3rd, go to the parks equaling day 1, Day 2 and 3 can be Saturday and Sunday completing the first two tickets.
Then on Monday June 6th pick up the other two tickets, go to the parks equaling day one......

Is there anything that indicates you have to pick up all four at once. If they let you split them you wouldn't loose a day.

Yes, it specifically says all four must be collected at once and activated on the same day.

They will probably make you activate all 4 at the same park. Not 2 at DL and 2 at DCA. If someone wanted to buy 2 tickets for the same day and use them and get, say, double FPs, I think Disney would let them. With comp tickets where they have the tickets and they hand them over when activated, it would be their decision.

Are the tickets linked? How would they know the same person had 2 of them?

They're not linked to anything at this time, other than the picture you take at the turnstile. What if they don't hand you 4 tickets? What if they walk you to the turnstile and do the activation there. That's the scenario where you wouldn't have 2 additional tickets to walk to the other park. You'd just have to ask them to do 2 tickets per person and it would be up to them to say yes or no.

In my experience, they'll just hand you the four tickets. We just had single-day comp tickets, but DH decided not to go when we used them. We didn't have a fourth person, so one person just did the enter/exit/re-enter to activate the ticket for extra FPs. They may do something different for multi-day tickets.

I think your plan should work. Activate, enter, activate and enter again (probably at the other park when you park hop) and then just stagger the days for days 2 and 3, for a total of 5 days each.
